From our perspective, customer satisfaction is not their priority. We had a "misunderstanding" (read between the lines) and my daughter did not get the results we expected based on pictures we were shown. A huge disappointment and hole in the wallet. They would NOT compensate NOR try to fix. They would not take their share of the responsibility for the mistake even though we decided to agree with them that it was a "misunderstanding". Even though the stylist made my teen feel very comfortable with her, it was clear that she had very little experience. It took her 5 hours to lighten and foil my daughters long hair. Industry standards is 3 hours. We will never go back and would not recommend to anyone. Read Less

Its so brite and friendly there. I went to have my eyelashes tinted and lift by Jillian Keefe they are amazing I'm totally in love. She was amazing and educated me on the process of the lift as she went along. Its was so relaxing. I don't live in the city but made my way up just to have this service done. And if I can get in and have it done on one of my future visits I will be sure to head here to see Jillian. I agree with some reviews by others guys down below. Maybe for women or people with longer hair this place would be a good deal, but for men they do about a 10 minute haircut and then charge $33 for it. It seemed rushed, whereas my Barbershop I go to has a more personal, slower approach. There if you're not happy or unsure they'll recommend things and usually it's over an hour haircut for $18. If you go over a half an hour here they'll actually call you out on it. My old barbershop seemed more precise and personal whereas this place felt more like a fast food quick in quick out approach with a higher charge. Read Less

HS Studio has been my go-to hair salon for the past year but today I was quite disappointed with my haircut. I booked a men's cut and when I arrived I was told by my hairdresser they couldn't do a fade, I said that was okay and just take it down to a 1.5 on the sides. I was then told my hairdresser couldn't find the 1.5 clippers and gave me a 2 instead. The haircut was very basic and in some areas uneven. Had to go home and fix it myself. Very disappointed in this cut considering it cost 25$. The hairdresser was as always very friendly and polite but the quality of the haircut was lacking. Read Less

I've been coming here for years to see Natasha and love it! My hair has a mind of its own and until Natasha I never found a hairdresser who has been able to give me a cut that looks good for more than about 10 minutes. First time into the Salon was today to get some waxing done, I had the pleasure of meeting Brittany, usually I'm very wary about who I let touch my face, because of past experiences. I am also usually very afraid of being judged as I have a condition where I produce more hair on my face than most. My experience with Brittany was amazing, she didn't make snide comments or be anything less than professional and very pleasant. 10/10 would recommend this salon and I can't wait to come back! Wow!!! I have had the same stylist for 32!!!! years( best friend at this point but amazing!) Had to look for another but mine is  still best friend but taking on new ventures and I moved As usual I digress ! I have travelled found some ok stylists but never compared to mine ( Even at Cesar's Palace ) They are ok but I realize talent is talent the only difference is geography !!! Which is luck and circumstance !! The best is the best wherever you are what differs is economics! Today I went to HS I Am here with my daughter and granddaughter They live in Halifax DID NOT sleep last night knowing I was trying to have an ok hair stylist and never had found one as amazing as my friend ( Did not start well my appt. called in sick! Almost cancelled but did not know her anyway so stayed! Here comes amazing part!!!! Phenomenal ! ( which is why I mentioned Vegas to show I tried the best (according to Vegas) and only amazing thing was PRICE!! Which brings me to today and ERICA She has the whole package passion talent and such a giving nature ! Rescues cats and rabbits (did not know you can rescue rabbits) She is humble and amazing!!!! I live 4 hrs away but here a lot for my granddaughter I will still come for my hair and Erica and visit my granddaughter second lol love her and doesn't read YELP safe for now!!! I have been Blessed to be a client of Sophia at the HS Studio for as long as she has been there. Sophia is creative, kind, innovative and amazing! She has been there to help with my hair when I have had funerals to attend and needed sudden style. The staff at the Studio have a wonderful interpersonal dynamic. All are happy to help all clients present at the Studio. I've been there with walkers, rollators and my current wheelchair. It has never been a problem for anyone at this excellent place.
