I went to Hollywood Nail last evening; the gentlemen that did my nails took over two hours for a fill in and even after two hours they were not completed...thank goodness for Sandy who stepped into help. There was so much nail polish on my skin you could not tell where the nail ended and skin started. The gentlemen tried to file the nail but was getting my skin. Then Sandy stepped in and finished the job two and half hours for a fill in. I have been going to this place si...nce it opened but the customer service has been going down. There 2 1/2 hours and not one person offered a drink to me and no I was to upset to ask. Also before the job was completed I was asked to pay since they closed at 7:30 and I had been there since 5:30 so they could close out there drawer. I have been here many ties and had a great experience. However yesterday was horrible. I went in to get a full set of nails. I showed a picture of exactly what I wanted length, shape, color. I said exactly like this. The girl started by putting tips way too big for my natural nails and then when I asked to make them smaller she said she couldn't. they were thick and looked horrible. After 2 1/2 hours and another person stepping to "Help" they looked a little better. Today my nails are and fingers are so sore and I have an open wound from the nails being filed so hard. I called to see if I can come in and get them fixed today because it is my only day off. I was told to call tomorrow. That is not acceptable. I told the girl doing my pedicure to be gentle with me. I don't know why these girls are always annoyed by this request. You are sanding and poking me with sharp objects. She was young and pretty, chin-length hair. If you get her, request someone else. She was SO rough. I asked her 4-5 times to be more gentle, but she kept at it. She sanded the skin off the top of my big toe while filing my nail. She nicked the skin cutting my cuticles. The worst of it is the hole she tore ...in the side of my foot while using the pumice stone. She wasn't paying any attention and I finally told her to stop. She offered me a bandaid. No apologies. The salon still charged me. I was with my sister-in-law and wish I hadn't been so polite. I will go back and show the owner my wounds and ask for my money back. Additionally, when I talked about my love for dancing, she and the girl next to her started laughing and stopped speaking English for a few sentences. SO RUDE. See More Read Less

I finally found my nail spa, after living here for almost a year! This is the place! Not only is Hollywood Nail Bar clean, spacious and accommodating to their customers, the staff is always pleasant and wanting to please. Best part, they take reservations. I love, love, love Noel! She is excellent and on my second visit she even remembered the nail color that I was wearing. What also is impressive to me is the staff help out each other, which benefits the customer. My appt.... was with Noel, as she was finishing up with her previous client, another staff member took care of me, by soaking my gel polish off for me. I love this about Hollywood Nail Bar!
