I called to make an appt. for a manicure. I had never been here before and thought I would check it out. Worst decision ever! They were booked up (which is fine) but the lady I was speaking with on the phone was so incredibly rude!!!! At that point I just said I would go to Avalon and her words were "Good luck with that". A true spa would certainly question a client in for a massage about issues, health, reason for visitation etc. I arrived 10 minutes early on the assumption this would occur - nada. Nothing other than had I had a massage before (twice a week in Belize where I am from) and if I was allergic to coconut oil (I come from coconut country). The relaxation massage was more of a boring massage. This so called spa should hire a certified RMT, really. "Slatherings" (oil smeared partially over the body) coupled with a too-gentle touch can not be considered a benefit to any other than perhaps someone inexperienced in the true meaning and value of massage. Sorry, I suggest you save your money and try elsewhere - then again, you get what you pay for - although the price here should be even lower. Read Less
