Almost 3 weeks ago I went to Sorella for a haircut that was very doable - basically a bob with light layers and my hair was long enough to support the cut. I left with hair barely 2-3 cm on the sides, my neck is a mess and the stylist Kelcie cut my curls halfway where it actually curled so no I have hair that flips up and out in a way it is not meant to. It is going to be a couple months before it has grown long enough to fix and at least 10-12 months before it grows to where I wanted it in the first place. I made one trip to the salon to see the manager and she wasn't in. I made one more trip yesterday to speak with the manager where I was offered either a free manicure or fee massage. I was not offered a refund or an apology. Then when I emailed the owner she replied by saying the staff said I was happy when I left that day and I made her staff nervous and she has banned me from the salon and showed the mall security who I am. I was also informed that if I do not remove my posts from their Facebook page within 24 hours she will sue me for defamation. Read Less

This was the most expensive place to get a pedicure. My fiancé was very pissed off the fact that they did such a bad job doing a pedicure alone for almost $60. We never heard of a price over $45 for a Manicure and a pedicure combined for that price. even with tip was still cheaper than the price for the pedicure alone here and does much more. This place is not worth the money for what they provide. The owner had the nerve and the disrespect that they have said I was never a client when in my review I said MY FIANCÉ was the one to go and they demanded that I take down my review of their HORRIBLE AND OVERCHARGED service. First off I'd like to say what wonderful people work here and how well they treated not only me but everyone I've seen come in and out. I often get my hair done and my nails done here and I am never disappointed in their services. This spa/salon is a lot more cheaper then anywheres else I have gone to in this province. Especially in the city. They are a genuinely caring staff and make sure you feel comfortable and always offer you a drink ask to take your coat and show you how to maintain and care for your style/aesthetics you had done and provide info and pamflets on the products used or what your hair/skin may need. Last week I went to this salon to get a pedicure and within the same day my fiancee posted a review on my behalf and got a response from the owner that they couldn't find him has a customer and I had an appointment at 4 pm on friday april 14th under Rina. Just wait and see their response to this negative review, that would be very similar to others. Here's the response my fiancee got and see how similar i would receive as well as other negative reviews they have gotten. this is from the owner which is a sad excuse for a response "Hi Eli G- we track all our clients in our system. We have not provided a service to you. The last service provided to an EG was in 2014 by a former nail technician. You have the wrong salon. You should remove your post." Read Less

Stupid me,I should have listened to my intuition or gut feeling. Last month when finishing up some Christmas shopping at Kings Place I decided to pop in to Sorella. I just wanted a quick trim and some highlights . Unfortunately I have nothing positive to say about my experience. My hairstylist overlayered my hair cut and now my hair extremely difficult to style, and just falls flat. My highlights were really chunky, not at all what I asked for, and when I pull my hair back my highlights through the sides are blotchy. The stylist who fixed my color, unfortunately they couldn't do much about the haircut except even it up, said that my foils had bled. Thankfully when I left the mall I saw a salon across the street called Robert Dugay I wasn't able to get in that day, but I was able to get in the next day and they did a wonderful job. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone, not even to get their dog haircut. I can only imagine they stay in business because of unsuspecting customers from mall traffic . Read Less

I normally hate going to get my hair done, but this crew were totally lovely, and spoiled me rotten, doing a good creative colour when i couldn't decide what I wanted, and humouring my request for 3 Viking style braids instead of a classic blow-dry. Visiting the spa in Oromocto for the first time in Oromocto for a pedicure. The girl I spoke to in the phone this morning was rude and clearly wanted me off the line as quickly as possible. Now at the salon and not impressed so far. Went to the bathroom before my service and it is absolutely filthy. Neither the toilet nor the sink have been cleaned in forever. The filthy black mop beside the toilet was particularly disgusting, followed by the mildew growing in the toilet. Now in the pedi "room" i.e. pedi space sitting in the most uncomfortable chair with my feet on what used to be at one time a white towel while looking at the layer of dust covering all the furniture around me.
