Not the first time I've been here, they do a good job on the manicure it usually lasts a full 2-3 weeks which is better than most places I've been to. Unfortunately they are not overly friendly and definitely less helpful they stalk around making comments to each other in their own language and don't seem to care to be there or help you make a choice you'll be happy with, I got a gold shellac manicure and wanted a simple design to dress it up I asked for a diagonal and horizontal lines in black and the technician just gave me blank stare after blank stare then she brought over the sample designs suggested a different one than I'd asked so we tried it our and I didn't care for it so she did another design again not the one I'd initially asked for and when I didn't like that she abandoned me to go work on someone else and had another even less pleasent technician come to work on the design she was so unfriendly I just decided to veto any design because I felt so uncomfortable and to top it off on the way out they had a delivery and there were tons of boxes obstructing the front entrance and I ended up slicing my knuckle open on the way out trying to avoid the boxes. It was $30, a good price but poor customer service, still tipped the original technician $5 seeing as it is the holiday season only wish I would've received the same level of respect on the service Read Less

I wouldn't go there again. I was doing my nails with my friend and the two girls wouldn't stop talking in their language Vietnamese. So rude! The girl who did my nails, her name is Annie. This is my favorite place to go. I live in St. James and I always make the trip to Saint Vital to go to Silver Nails instead of other places. They always take walk-ins, but do yourself a favour and make an appointment. They are very busy for a reason. Read Less

I have gone a couple of times and the staff there are fantastic. However I have been very disappointed with the past few visits. I think the owners may need to figure out a way to deal with clientele management. It is amazing to be able to say yes to all your walk-ins but the customers that make appointments deserve priority.I suggest figuring out how many staff you have, and notice how many appointments you have. Figure out how much time you need per each person and then set people up in 15 minute increments. The day I went, I could see the stress on the staff of how busy it was and if they can get a handle on timings and clientele management I think it might be able to go faster and smoother. A pedicure and gel nail fill should not take more than an hour and a half. Read Less

I have been very disappointed the last couple of times I have been to Silvernails. Today was no exception and I waited for 50 minutes for a pedicure as the water got cooler and cooler. I arrived on time at 11:30 and left at 2:15 PM still with no topcoat on one toe! I need to find another place to get my nails done! Read Less

Every time I go to Silver Nails, I leave more impressed than ever! They always make time for walk-ins and are the friendliest staff ever! I had a beautiful shellac manicure and pedicure done and I can't stop looking at my nails! The designs are gorgeous! Amazing art! I had a wonderful foot and hand massage too, which was the cherry on top! One of the ladies even went out of her way to help me put my shoes on after my mani/pedi so I didn't damage my nails!
