I love this place! The salon is perched high above the city, depending on the time of year I get to watch the sunset over Victoria while getting my nails done! I have had long natural nails for many years, and this year I took the plunge into gel nail extensions. My nails are so beautiful and strong now, I never have to worry about them breaking. The women here are so accommodating, and so creative. I get so many compliments on my nails so often I have just started keeping a few of the salon's business cards in my wallet, to save myself time! Horrible experience.....I went to see Laurie ( which was suppose to be the best in town for gel nails ) to get a new set of gel nails. I requested a new set that looked thin and natural. I left with extremely thick un-natural looking nails. They were unleveled and bumpy. One broke right away ( which she fixed two days later ). I had infection around the cuticles from drill burn on 3 fingers. I tried to give her a constructive feedback and I would have gone back to see if it was a one off time yet all she did .... was turning it around against me saying that she did suggest a gel overlay versus a gel extension. ( BTW not only I am a certified gel nail tech but I have had my gel nails done for years in the past and this had nothing to do with the nail extensions). A good nail tech should be able to do a new set of gel nails with extensions without the trouble Laurie had. The gel polish application was very poor as well. Read Less

Lala is the most amazing nail artist I've ever seen. She is so creative and can do anything you want. It doesn't matter if it's a little bling or crazy designs it's no problem. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my nails. The shop has a great vibe too!!! Check them out. Read Less

I have been going to Madison for several years now and highly recommend her with out question. Laurie rates up there as well - I have seen her as well if Madison was unavailable because of my schedule. I would comment on Lala, but to date have not seen her. These girls take pride in what they do and after seeing several other nail techs in the city - they are bar-non the best. Don't think twice about making an appointment - just go as see for yourself.
