My mom and I went for pedicures on Mother's Day and were super impressed. The space is lovely, massage chairs are better than most and the service was fantastic. Went in for a pedi for the first time and loved it! Everyone was so friendly and laid back. I was really happy with the polish color recommendation and had the most amazing leg message. Extremely impressed with the quality of service, products, and employees here!! Mai did my shellac manicure and she did a beautiful job - efficient, quick without rushing, and has such a friendly personality with a great sense of humour. My friend got a manicure by Nathan - neither of us have ever seen such efficiency and talent!! Every nail was shaped perfectly and consistently on both hands, and the polish was applied beautifully. Natalie gave me a facial and a relaxation m...assage, both of which were wonderful. She read the situation perfectly and realized I didn't mind chatting through my appointment. She made sure I knew what my skin needed, and she used all sensitive products to ensure I didn't break out (which I'm prone to do). I've had opportunity to speak with Melissa as well. I took my Mom for the deluxe mani/pedi. It was wonderful. Melissa and her staff are very good at what they do. I really appreciated how they were able to fit my Mom in for a set of nails. A great new addition to Cook Street Village! I have had 2 gel fill manicures and a deluxe pedicure here so far. Service has been excellent, and quality of the work is very high. My gel manicures have lasted perfectly for nearly 3 weeks. Nathan is so good at what he does! The salon is very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable. I received shellac nails two weeks go, and they are still intact! No chips! The technicians are kind and friendly. At other places I find that they are so preoccupied with getting you in and out that they don't let the nails cure long enough...here they did it properly and let the nails cure. I will go again. I was very impressed with this salon. I was a bit skeptical based on their website (not their Facebook page), as the photos pictured the salon during construction and the search bar/some of the website details weren't in English or French, but I came away from my appointment extremely happy. The salon was impeccably clean, the co-owners were genuinely friendly, the salon offers a variety of discounts (first month promotion, student discount, group discounts and packages etc) ...and I didn't feel like my appointment was rushed. I've visited other salons in Victoria, and this one is definitely #1 in regards to quality of service. I would definitely recommend this business to my friends!
