The people here are so rude!!! The guy rushed through doing my nails, and was so unfriendly and rough, he didn't say a single word to me. Burnt my finger with the drill, made my nails about 1/2 inch shorter than what i wanted, terrible polish, all over my fingers. When I called to ask if they could fix them the following day the woman on the phone shouted at me and told me it was my fault because "you go home then decide you want long nail, why you don't say you want long nails, you should have said.. etc etc." So unbelievably rude. I will never step foot in there again! I have been there many times over the years but the last time was absolutely horrendous. I am a single mum and scrimped and saved to afford to take my daughter for special mummy daughter pedicures. What I had been told her pedicure would include for the price was not what we got and we're charged more than expected not to mention my pedicure was subpar. When I went back to speak to the manager I was offered $3 dollars back and that was it. What was suppose to be a great mummy daughter day has ended up a very expensive lesson I wish I hadn't had to learn. Read Less

This was definitely the worst manicure I have ever had at a nail salon. It was just two days ago, and I went to another spa today to have my nails re-done and the horrible gel polish taken off, and the sloppy manicure re-done. The woman just rushed through it. No cuticle care, no oil, uneven filing, all done in less than 30 minutes. Don't go there. Beware of this place. Read Less

Terrible! The women are lovely and do a good job but the guy is AWFUL. He is so rude. He was doing my wife's nails and paid more attention to his soap opera on television than to my wife's nails which were cut too short with a bad paint job. Then, when my father-in-law asked if there was a seniors' discount, he said, "You want discount? I smell stinky feet and work stinky all day and for $35. Work not good, hard work and $35 is good for stinky feet". SHOCKING! Never ever to return. Shame on them. There were four of us who will not go back! Read Less

It seems like every time I get my nails done here, the polish chips off within a few days. I figured it's just because I'm very active. So this time I decided to spend the extra $ and get shelac. The next day, the paint on several of my nails had chipped, and four peeled right off! I went in to ask them to fix it, and to their credit, they said yes. However, when I came back for my appointment, I had to wait almost 30 minutes past my appointment time to be seated. When I pointed out all of the chipping, he tried to tell me that it was just the result of nail growth (three days after getting them painted). He only repainted the four that had peeled right off. He couldn't remember what colour he had used before, and couldn't match his samples to my nails. So he grabbed a colour and insisted it was the right one, despite me saying that it wasn't. After he finished, he looked at his work and noticed it wasn't the same colour. He didn't offer to fix it. I will never go back here. Read Less

Everyone here is so friendly and that really means something to me! I usually go all over the place to get my nails done, but once I found City Nails, I haven't been elsewhere.  They are very through and the quality is unmatched.  The prices are pretty similar if not a little less than other places I've been in town.  Love it here! Stopped in on a whim needing a pedicure for my disgusting feet.   Got a Mani/Pedi special for $50 ($56 with tax), which I thought was entirely in line with prices I've paid at other nail salons in the area.   I had two girls working on me simultaneously, one for each service, which was very nice.  They took a lot of time to massage my arms and legs, and did a pretty thorough job.  Everyone was friendly, and the salon appears to be very clean.   If I want to spend a little more money on a little more pampering, I'd go to a proper spa, but for a really nice basic service, I think this is my new place.
