First time I've been in to this salon I came as a walk in and they quickly had me in a chair with a nail tech. I like getting a bit more than just a little polish and my technician seemed right on board with it, not annoyed or reluctant which was great! I loved the shape I got and the color is even and carefully done. The atmosphere seemed lovely, nice and cool inside, beautifully decorated, clean and bright, clients talking with each other as well as the nails techs. I absolutely love this salon. Both Liz and Cody do an excellent job. I just wish they had more top coat & design options such a foil inlay, matte top coat, glow in the dark & holographic, etc! I have been to 25 different nail salons over the years and this is by far the best. Sanitary, clean, relaxing and appropriate music, massage chairs, endless polish and design options, lots of well trained employees, overall completely satisfied and have gone 7 times in a row. My nails don't even have tips on anymore and I haven't chipped, broken or even scratched one. The owner is great, I've had a different staff member each time and each one has been amazing and accommodating. I would suggest opting for a different nail salon if you're looking to get matte finish polish. I had my acrylic fill done here and requested a matte finish. I was informed it would cost extra which was fine. Rather than using a matte finish topcoat, they used a regular glossy topcoat and then buffed out my nails with a block buffer. As a result, they look super scratched up in daylight and they've chipped super easily. A glossy appearance is also noticeable at the edges of the nails where they couldn't quite buff. I was very surprised that they would use this technique. This appears to be a very well-stocked salon and matte finish topcoat is widely available and an industry (and even at-home) standard. I was quite dismayed to pay extra and leave with scratched up nails. Read Less

I've been getting my nails done at C&H since they opened - by far the best nail salon in town. Whether it's a manicure or full artificial nails, they do an excellent job. Cody, especially, is a talented nail designer...and when you go for a pedicure, ask for Helena. She does the best leg/foot massage I've ever had! Read Less

Had a lovely deluxe pedi with Bi at Ch Nail today. He was very attentive and provided a very relaxing foot massage using first a scrub, then citrus oil, hot stones, and finally a paraffin hot wax treatment. A lightweight moisturizing cream was used to complete the pampering service. He did an amazing job on my nails, cutting, shaping, painting etc. Sadly one nail did smudge at the end of the drying period but this was quickly repaired, reapplied. I was not offered a drink, though the lady next to me was offered tea/water. I asked for a glass of water, which was luke warm and not nice to drink - hence the 4 stars. Read Less

I usually go to Foxy Box for waxes because they are amazing, but this was close to my house so I thought I'd try it out. This was over a week ago, and I still have layers of skin burnt off. The woman's gloves kept sticking to me and a procedure that should take 10-20 minutes took over an hour. Oil should be used to take off excess wax, but I was scrubbed with rubbing alcohol, many times, leaving me in tears and tapping out of the process (so, still left with hair). I left thinking that I might have to go to the emergency room because of how raw and on fire my skin was. This was a horrific experience and I was shaking and feeling sick as I forked over 78 freaking dollars. I should not have even paid for a service this terrible and unprofessional. Read Less
