I have only visited this salon in search of Aveda products as I purchase once a year when they offer a “friends And family” discount and both visits were amazing! Each staff member took the time to acknowledge me, smile, offer tea, ask if I had questions as well as share any helpful info. I’m so happy to support this local business! The most enchanting moment was the beautiful young helper who was spraying the bags with an Aveda spritzer, filling it the purchased product, some samples and finishing the job with a ribbon and a smile only to come out from behind the counter to personally hand over my purchase. I completely believe credit should be given where it is due, and I totally give the ladies at Spruce Salon all the credit for probably the best experience I have ever had, in all my years visiting salons. I booked myself in for a complete change of colour (balayage) and restyle, as well an eyebrow wax and my son's first hair cut. From start to finish it was a 5 star service. Shalina was so patient and skilled with my son's first trim who's shy and a wiggle monster (13 months ...old). I had the pleasure of having Katie Dilts do my cut, dye, and brows. Both Katie's did a better job on my hair than I could ask for, exceeding my expectations of what the finish would finally look like. Katie is an amazing colorist, I have been to a number of the colorists in this salon and they are all very good. I love that the Avedacolor doesn't smell like other professional product. I have an incredibly sensitive scalp and I highly recommend Aveda and Spruce Salon. Read Less

I got my hair cut & colored by Shalina yesterday and could not be happier! She gave me an amazing hair cut and my blonde color is spot on. I love the aveda product as it is so natural and the dyes really nourish my hair instead of damaging it, as my hair is naturally dark and coarse. I went to Spruce for the first time today to get "spruced up" as my grandmother would say, for back-to-school, and I will most definitely be back! The salon is so lovely and tranquil and the staff are friendly, attentive and on the top of their style game! While processing my colour, I was even given a fabulous hand massage and the shampoo/neck rub was amazing!!! They even went so far as to do a make-up touch up before taking my 'after' photo!
