I go to Spice Beauty Bar for many services. I love their chocolate modest Brazilian wax, they are always fast and very nice. I also used to come to Spice Beauty Bar for eyebrow threading and tinting with my mom. We both have always been very pleased. Recently I had my eyebrows microbladed here as well. The girls took their time with the shape of the eyebrows and didn’t rush it at all. I am quite particular and they were very patient and accomodating. They were knowledgeable about the procedure and aftercare instructions. I have loved my eyebrows since and am very happy. I would definitely recommend this place for any services you need. Read Less

Was looking for a different spot to do threading which didn't require the full trek to downtown.Location is convenient - just 200 metres north of Broadway/Commercial skytrain station I was able to make an appointment in the morning online before they opened which was super convenient.  Mini massage @ the end and the aesthetician checked in with me throughout the process to make sure things were done to my satisfaction. From arrival to departure (including paying) it was about 7 mins for threading.  There's a lot of hip and happening breakfast joints (also colourful characters) down Commercial @ 11am in the morning so it was nice to be in a more alive neighbourhood.  My usual faves are Dona Lucia and Bombay Brow Bar but they are far for non-Downtown folk.Will try again! I've been here for a pedicure, brow threading and brow/lash tinting. It's a really nice salon and always clean and tidy. The ladies are lovely and very quick. I think the pricing is also extremely reasonable. Definitely recommend and look forward to going back. Read Less

I told the nice lady that I only wanted eyebrow & eyelash tinting -- no threading because I've done electrolysis. Without asking me she trimmed my brows while I my eyes were shut with due on my lashes! And told me while she was cutting so TOO LATE to say NO! Now one eyebrow has almost disappeared at the edge -- looks like I have 1/2 a brow :(( NOT happy. Also left much is the Di under my eyes and I look like a freakin raccoon! Read Less

First time going in today. It was a random walk in and instantly was greeted with a warm welcome. She did 3 services for me including eye brow threading, eyebrow tint and upper lip wax/thread. She did all services for me even though she has an appointment walking in shortly after. She did it in a timely manner and over all a great job. So glad I randomly walked in and chose this place. I brought my 12 yr old to get her brows threaded for the 1st time and they did an amazing job. This is now her regular brow place and I bring her back every few weeks or so. I love using the massage chair while I wait too, that's a nice bonus, lol Read Less

I am so entirely in love with this place! Their work is flawless - my face has never been so smooth, my eyebrows look so elegant, and the manicures are Perfect. I have to say, though, the one thing that impressed me the most was actually how they all work with the different clients. I've been in for multi-colour-coat pedis where you end up sitting and people-watching as each layer dries, and so I get to see the people who work there interacting with a whole bunch of clients, and Neelam in particular can transition so smoothly from chatty and funny to calm and gentle to whatever is appropriate for each client's mood and personality. She's just so in tune with her clients and takes care of everyone exactly the way they need.Just a really wonderfully run salon with excellently skilled staff. Always a treat. Read Less
