When me and my daughters came here we were charged $40 for just nail paint and the owner chalked it up to Salon fees. I have a 4 year old and a 10 year old it does not take $40 worth of paint to paint their nails. Read Less

kulwinder is the eyebrow expert! After having my eyebrows practically removed all the way off by someone at a hair salon, kulwinder made them full and beautiful again! She is a super star! She always makes sure that I am happy! After looking at the reviews I decided to give this place a try. And I was so WRONG! Staff didn't say hi and even though I made an appointment couple of days ago they did not know what services I booked. Then, they just started shaping without asking me what my preferences were. So I had to stop them and say what I want. They did not outline my eyebrows to see if they are the same shape and height. Thankfully the result was good. When they started tinting they didn't ask what colour and intensity I look for so I had to stop them again. So, overall, I wouldn't call my experience a pleasant one as I was stressing over the result all the time! I will not come again. Read Less

I love this brow bar I had never had my eyebrows threaded before but decided to give it a try since all of my friends go to Jas.. The girl doing my brows took time with me to help me select the best brow shape for my face and I have been coming here ever since. I love my brows a lot I've been here for my Brazilian wax and they do a great job and make sure that you leave happy. I was looking for an eyebrow threading place and I decided to go for this place after I read some reviews. Unfortunately for me the experience was quite poor and I am never going back again. I had several wounds under my eyebrows after going to this place. On top of that the threading was done very very poorly. I could even do a better job. Wandered in here yesterday because it said lash tinting which is hard to find in this city.I am a natural blond and even if the hair on this head has turned a mousy reddish brown in my old age, my lashes and brows remain stubbornly light. Silver Orchid opens before 10 am but 10 is when Jas, the eye (and henna) person gets in. Wellll she was amazing. She had funny stories and great energy throughout, and my weirdness did not faze her as it does some. She did a GREAT job on my lashes, and then we moved on to the eyebrows...Threading!I had never tried threading, maybe mostly because I couldn't imagine how it worked. But instead of the 40+ minutes spent waxing (and tugging on skin!) threading took maybe 7 minutes, and that's because I wanted them super thin. WOW!!! Le did my nails this evening and how nice was it to have a nail stylist that was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He switched me to a liquid gel overlay because he didn't want me breathing in all the chemicals and fumes from acrylic nails. I am so impressed and everyone there was so nice. I have my appointment for 3 weeks from today and I don't think I'll ever leave them!!!!! 5 star service from a 5 star guy!!!! I can't wait to get these acrylic nails taken off so we can start my nails fresh at my next appointment! Thank you Le for being available and so accommodating with my son!!!
