Went to the wet nail bar today to get my nails done with my cousin, I asked for acrylic no gel my cousin asked for gel
Minutes later I got the worst vibe from my nail lady she was signing and under her breath they close at 6PM and we arrived at 4:40 you could tell they were done for the day. I asked for coffin nails but I have short nail beds and she was telling me no no and she picked the size I did not want these size nails I was mad
I let it go and the girl is taking and twisting my fingers badly all of my finger almost bled because how rough she was I told her i was cold moments later she turns on the little fan.. I’ve noticed also she was skipping steps and rushing and going super fast on my nails we get to the part I sit beside my friend and get them painted and she starts talking to her fellow worker in her language and kept repeating coffin nails and I knew she was talking about my nails. At the end they looked exactly not how I wanted... she ended up charging me $56 instead of $35 and I only had $40 and I told her I asked for acrylic not gel and she said I did and I told her I didn’t and only my friend asked for gel so I had to call my mom to come pay and I honestly left crying

Owner did my shellac nails Feb 13, 2018. She first quickly removed my old shellac off with a nail filer, then add a light pink shellac nail polish. I started noticed air bumbles and she said it was because removing the old polish and it was uneven now. She didn't file it properly and so I had air bumble and uneven nail polish, I asked her to remove it all and said this isn't expectable work done. I left with nothing done expect 1.5 hours of wasted time. She dare ask for payment from me.

This was my third time here, it was great until I went in last Tuesday morning. I was getting my nails shaped and the lady asked "how is the shape"? I looked at it and noticed it was a bit uneven at the top... so I politely asked her to fix the ones I thought weren't straight. After telling her more then a few were not straight enough she threw my hand and said "OK, YOU TELL ME WHICH SIDE IS UNEVEN" ... taken back by that I decided not to even talk to her. When I first sat down I mentioned that my nails tend to break easily, so I asked her to do them a bit thicker. She was totally fine about it until I went to pay. When she was ringing me up, she said so it's 38.00 for your fill, but it's another 7.00 for doing thicker nails. I was blown Away! I've been getting my nails done for many years now .. and have NEVER been charged for "thicker nails" ! I didn't end up paying it due to the fact she never mentioned another charge when I asked the first place. plus there is no where on the website where it states a THICKER NAIL CHARGE ... she argued with me on it at the front desk in front of everyone . GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

This place is okay for nails. I would go here if I can't get an appointment at my regular salon. The only thing pissed me off was the girl started talking to the other girl about my nails in their language and it was really awkward.

It makes me sad to write this review. I used to come here every month and just loved it. The staff was (past tense) friendly and they always did a great job. But lately it has gotten too busy and it feels like everyone is rushing and so the quality of the manis and pedis have suffered. One time I had an appointment and they didn't have any seats left. I waited for a bit and then went home. They were apologetic of course but that just shouldn't happen when you call in advance and make an appointment. Anyway, I have stopped going and am now checking out other places in my neighbourhood...It's too bad because I liked those hot stones and it is super close by. Sigh...

Had an awesome shellac pedicure today, it was fabulous. The hot stones felt so great - a lovely added touch. Decor is a bit dated but the service, end result, great massage chair and free cup of green...

Gave 1 star for the owner, she was the only staff that spoke to me in a polite manner and smiled at me. The two nail techs doing my service barely spoke to me during the 45 - min long mani and pedi. The only time they did was minimal words to direct me when to put my feet up or when to change hands. The lady doing my manicure was only interested in getting me to do Shellac, and she was holding my arms up to do the manicure while she was standing. The whole service was uncomfortable. As many others have said, staff seems eager to get to the next client. Both finished polish on fingernails and toenails were unprofessional, messy, amateur... How else can I describe it? I also realized afterwards that the nail tech doing my feet did not ask me which color I wanted and chose it on her own. What the... Never again.

Disappointed again. I used to go here for manis and pedis; service was great and I loved the hot stones. Last January, I booked pedis for my sister and I just before a fun girls holiday in Maui. Unfortunately - the staff were too busy taking walk ins to do our pedis together (we had booked an appointment) and my pedi was rushed to finish.I ended up with polish smudging off my big toe and had to have my polish redone at the hotel. Today I decided to give them another try ( loved the hot stones) I was 15 minutes early for my appointment and after 20 minutes with my feet soaking in water I left. It was only 5 minutes past my appointment time but the 3 staff working appeared to not be even close to finishing the clients they were with no one acknowledged how much longer it would be. Enough with bad service, nail bars are a dime a dozen.

My longtime Nail Tech. has retired and she suggested that I try this place for my Solar nails. Wet Nail Bar has been open for about a year and is located on 152nd (in the little strip mall that has Tissol, Subway, Kins Market and Clancy's Meats). I made an appointment for 10 a.m. (no appointments are necessary) and had Hannah who did a lovely job. I will definitely go back.

It makes me sad to write this review. I used to come here every month and just loved it. The staff was (past tense) friendly and they always did a great job. But lately it has gotten too busy and it feels like everyone is rushing and so the quality of the manis and pedis have suffered. One time I had an appointment and they didn't have any seats left. Disappointed again. I used to go here for manis and pedis; service was great and I loved the hot stones. Last January, I booked pedis for my sister and I just before a fun girls holiday in Maui. My longtime Nail Tech. has retired and she suggested that I try this place for my Solar nails. Wet Nail Bar has been open for about a year and is located on 152nd (in the little strip mall that has Tissol, Subway, Kins Market and Clancy's Meats).
