Had a great experience in the salon! The girls were super friendly and asked all about my upcoming vacation and my pregnancy. The problem is that my pedicure (regular polish), which usually lasts me a month from another place I go to, started chipping not even a week after getting it (4 day mark). My manicure (gel polish) started chipping at the 6 day mark when I can usually get at least two weeks from a gel manicure. Will be sticking with my regular nail place from now on. Read Less

Quality of solar nails are horrible, different lengths, thick, 3 days one broke, went to fix, rude and unprofessional language, I complained that didn’t like the shape , the owner told me according to her opinion it is perfect, who said I asked her opinion if I paid for service I like to receive what I ask and pay for.... she used her own nail (not even washed) to removed the broken solar tip from my nail and happen to slipped in under my nail.... I work myself in beauty industry and never seen such customer service before where you come to fix something hasn’t done right and received rude and inappropriate behaviour of staff. The quality of acrylic nails was bad ( not same shape and length and very curved at the end of tip) , four days later one nail broke and I walk in to fix it, I think that was the owner I ask to fix, she started to separate acrylic tip from my nail by using her own nail which hurts me since she actually cut under my own nail then she wanted me to put wounded nail in aceton, so I refused. Then she told me how I want her to fix very rudely, If you are professional you should know yourself better what is way to fix . When I complain that the quality of the Nails I am not happy she said according to her opinion it is perfect. Horrible service!! I am usually the last one to give such a bad review as I have huge tolerance to rude behaviour and very rarely have bad experiences in the service industry. I respect people who work hard and are polite and offer good service . Unfortunately, this place has nothing pleasant to offer:( For the first time ever I walked out of the salon after just 10 minutes of my feet dipped in the pedicure water. The women serving were condescending and extremely rude! I was... asking for a colour of my choice and she was having trouble giving me choices so she started being argumentative!! I requested to see the owner as the girl was continuing to argue. The owner came and started scolding me for not understanding. It was them having a hard time trying to understand customer needs and she started blaming me! I was shocked and wondered why am I here getting a pedicure among women who are desrespecting me and being so obnoxious in their behaviour. I have been here before and often noticed their inability to understand customer needs but recently they have gotten busy and they overlook basic human decency to be nice to customers! I've been going to Maggie's Summer Nail for over 2 years. Every experience has been good. They look after my finger and toe nails very well. Always paying attention to details and making sure I'm happy with things before I leave. They fit me in when I can't give much notice, which is helpful when I work long hours. I've checked out Google reviews for several other nail salons in and around the area and by far Summer Nail has the best reviews...........why? Best pedicure I've had in a long time. Lots of attention to detail. Some salons speed the process up if they are busy or trying to squeeze in "one more client", but despite how busy it was and how many people came and were turned away i got the one on one attention necessary for an excellent pedicure.
