I booked my appointment and made it clear in the notes that I wanted to get my gel nails removed and get normal French nail polish. I arrived on time and was seated right away and the owner started working on my nails. She convinced me that my nails will be too brittle and that I should leave the gel on and let my nails grow it out. Which I thought was genuine advice and I took it happily. Then she further went on to convince me to get “faded french shellac” instead because it will last longer. I thought ok why not so I agreed. During my appointment I kept getting moved from 1 nail tech to another and there was some misunderstanding between the nail techs on who’s client I was. There was closed door convos happening while I waited half done with my nails which I found very odd. The lady who did my faded French was very nice!! She did an amazing job but she was being rushed by the other nail techs to finish faster. So my right hand was done amazingly but my left hand had a lot of nail polish around my skin which was stuck on. Also I did not see them use any disposable nail files and grinding equipment which worried me but thankfully I didn’t get any infections. Overall I think there’s a problem with management and their customer service. I didn’t feel like it’s worth my drive to go here all the way from north surrey since they didn’t try to make me a long term customer. I saw how other customers were being treated and I felt like a worthless customer who was being passed around between nail techs. Also interms of the quality of my nails. It chipped in less than a week! Very disappointed.

What a wonderful place. I took my 4 year old for her first birthday mani pedi. Everyone was so good to her and did a great job on her nails, as well as mine. They play great music and it's a nice clean salon. I will definitely be coming back ! 😄

I haven't been here but I have a question or two. Do they speak English fluently here? I like that they have a lot of pictures of nails because most websites don't. But I'm looking for more experience...
I haven't been here but I have a question or two. Do they speak English fluently here? I like that they have a lot of pictures of nails because most websites don't. But I'm looking for more experience in Nails than what they have on their website. I have healing stones that I want to be transitioned into my nails realistically looking. I don't want to waste time bringing in my stones for inspiration having them make a nail for me to look at when I come back when it's done. I don't understand why nail places don't put profiles on the website. And it's not like they're going to make a mock nail for me

I have been fortunate enough to stumble upon Marcy at Nail FX. I’ve been in to see her twice now and in all my years of getting manicures, pedicures, and acrylic nails I have never had such an amazing nail tech. The shape is perfect she takes her time. Her attention to detail is amazing. I told a coworker I was going in for a manicure and she said “but your nails look like they’ve just been done” That was after two weeks!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this salon!

It’s a beautiful and well kept place. My nails looked pretty, but they didn’t last at all. Within 5 days the nails started lifting off my nails right at the edges near my cuticles, was extremely disappointing. Not somewhere I will be returning to.

I love the look of my nails ! Only problem is the top coat of shellac didn't cover the glitter properly so the glitter was still standing on end which makes it "nick- able" so it catches on EVERYTHING...
I love the look of my nails ! Only problem is the top coat of shellac didn't cover the glitter properly so the glitter was still standing on end which makes it "nick- able" so it catches on EVERYTHING & driving me Nuts !! About 4 nails didn't get proper coverage on the tip so was not smooth. I would like this fixed ASAP please. Was just in there yesterday. Got Halloween nails, they look great otherwise!

Found Nail FX studio while walking home from work last year and have been going back ever since. The ladies here are super talented and are always down to experiment with new nail art techniques and materials. The only trick is that you have to book quite far in advance (especially if you require service after 5pm) as spots fill quickly!

Came in wanting a particular design that I'd found on Pinterest. Technically I got what I wanted, but the French tip on one nail is wonky and there's a dent in the polish on my thumb (don't know if that's my fault or hers). She didn't do any of the other usual services that come with a full set of gel nails, like scraping out the dirt from underneath the nails, dealing with hangnails, and the hand massage with lotion. There was also nail glue and polish left on my fingertips ...that wasn't removed that I noticed when I got home, had to remove it myself. She attempted to make small talk for the first ten minutes and the rest of the (shorter than usual) appointment was silent. I didn't want to say anything at the time because she seemed irritated and I didn't want to be "that difficult customer", but I've found a better place in Langley and probably won't be back. See More

I have been fortunate enough to stumble upon Marcy at Nail FX. I’ve been in to see her twice now and in all my years of getting manicures, pedicures, and acrylic nails I have never had such an amazing nail tech. The shape is perfect she takes her time. It’s a beautiful and well kept place. My nails looked pretty, but they didn’t last at all. Within 5 days the nails started lifting off my nails right at the edges near my cuticles, was extremely disappointing. Not somewhere I will be returning to.

Found Nail FX studio while walking home from work last year and have been going back ever since. The ladies here are super talented and are always down to experiment with new nail art techniques and materials.
