Was about to buy a Groupon here but called beforehand, they said they would honor the same price if I didn't purchase it, so first red flag. I asked if they do double-dipping and they said for the Brazilians they don't.. but that doesn't exactly solve the issue with cross contamination. During the appointment someone knocked on the door, and the water actually opened it! My whole bottom half was visible to the entrance of the store! Took my son here to get his first hair cut this afternoon, went in thinking he wouldn’t sit for it and it would be a terrible experience but the lady’s here made it so easy and fun! His hair looks so adorable!! I strongly recommend coming here for kids/baby’s hair cuts! Read Less

Extremely disappointed! I brought my daughter in for her first haircut, hoping to make the experience memorable, based on what the website said was offered: "Child's First Hair Cut - including Picture, Blow-dry, Certificate, Hair Lock, Lollipop, Balloon, Bracelet and Manicure $20". I even asked when I booked if all the above was included, and was told "everything but the picture." It was completely misrepresented. My daughter received a 5 minute haircut, no blow-dry (just a quick braid in her damp hair), a certificate, a bag of her wet cut hair (mixed with bits of other kid's hair), and a balloon the stylist went over & quickly blew up. She is almost 4 years old, not a baby, so this was something she was looking forward to. I paid more than the price of a typical cut for a child at the salon, and received basically less, as it was her first cut, so not much cutting was needed. It was about the experience, not the cut, but even the cut was terrible (it's uneven). Would not recommend, and will advise against to my many friends who have children of this age. Read Less

No wonder they were nominated as one of Surrey's best decor spas, gorgeous private room off to the left.  Spacious, comffy sofas.Three separate rooms, hair salon on the right side and get this for the parents---specialized seats for the kids' haircuts too.   Perfect for my princess.And probably the only spa in surrey I know that offers Eminence products, the best natural organic skincare line IMHO. Sure beats going to the annual spa show in DT Van..A bit hard to find, in a business park area beside a huge plaza. Read Less

I came here to try microdermabrasion. The staff are so friendly, and polite....great service. Everyone there loves what they do. They are up on all the latest trends in skincare, and I love the line Eminence that they use! I've since bought the products for home use. I've had other treatments since, & have been very happy. The old adage was right, "you get what you pay for". I bought a groupon for a mani pedi to try this place out and to get ready for sandal season.  The manicurist refused to scrub the dead skin off my feet.  Instead, she tried to upsell me on a 'chocolate mask' that she claimed would remove the dead skin.  When I declined, she got quite rude.  My nails look amateurish and sloppy.  There's excess nail polish on the skin surrounding my nails that she failed to clean up.  I think I could've done the same quality polish job at home.  Would not recommend this place to anyone. The street address is actually 65a apparently. The " Langley Centre " bus has two stops very close to Beauty Mantra. There is good shopping next door, like Save-on-Foods,  Tim Hortons and a McDonald's restaurant. I had a successful manicure by a woman near the entrance door. I sat in a big, black , comfy chair. The pedicure was inside a big room, not near the reception area, where the manicure was done. There are about three different Groupon deals, two of the Groupon deals are excellent value. There are approximately five people who work at Beauty Mantra. I only spoke to two women in english. I assumed they were Indo-Canadians who could speak the Punjabi language. I would see my worker again for another affordable service. Read Less
