I’ve tried this place twice and after my last visit will never go back. I asked for a very basic flower design on my toes. They botched it. I submitted the pic. They also took a chunk of my skin off my toe. I left a 20% tip (on top of taxes) because the lady had tried twice but I realized when I got home that $96 is a lot of money and really I should be happy with the result and I wasn’t. I called the manager who agreed to have it corrected and give my $5 back. I went in the next day only to find the manager not there and to be told by a rude guy that I could not change the colour on my 3 toes that I wanted to change. That all they would do was repaint the large toe the original colour. He was very rude and the one who did my gel manicure so I was surprised to have him be so rude when I was so generous with his tip. I finally agreed to have them keep my $5 in order to change the colour on my 3 toes. But I demanded my tip back from the rude guy! The price is okay, but he decor is awful. Feels so cold and bare, like it used to be a diner or something. The people speak NO English, and use gestures to communicate. While there are nicer places, they are also more expensive ... I guess you get what you pay for. Read Less

Terrible treatment today. The eyelash technician was a guy who I never had before and he kept hurting my eyelids while he worked on them.. something I never experienced but I let it go becuase my lashes were beautiful regardless. Then I had an issue with my card and they kept trying to take my phone while I was trying to figure out my card issue, apparently there have been a lot of scams but that is no reason to try and take my phone, I wasn't even trying to leave! On top of that another customer kept chiming in saying that they should call the police on me.. I know they can't control other customers but I've been going here for years and I'm a customer too and they allowed her to just yell things. The whole ordeal was so embarrassing that I couldn't help but tear up as I left when my card did finally work. I'm sadly never coming here again as this was the worst service I have ever had. Went here a few times to get my acrylic nails filled. Seemed to be good up until I needed to get them redone. They were lifting really badly and had to do a lot of cutting away on the lifted parts. When she Filled them she never redid the line for the white part, whatever that's called. So the line was overgrown and looked like crap. Also, upon inspection later, you could see a line in the fill of where they had cut away the old nail and where the fill began. When it was time for another fill, again they were lifting really badly. Again they had to awkwardly cut away the lifted parts and refill. This time I asked for her to redo the white line. She didn't cut the line and use the white acrylic powder like they use for fills, she painted it on and used a brush and polish remover to try to straighten out the line. Quick and wasn't very straight. When I went to pay she charged me an extra $10 for it!! Never did she mention there would be an extra charge, plus redoing tips should be free because that's they whole point of getting nails redone, to make them look new again, not like they're still grown out! Was pretty irritated at this pointProbably a week later when I looked at them, not only could you see 2 lines from when I got them filled, but also the parts that were lifting were still visible inside the nail! Like you could see white cloudy parts in the middle of the nail where they hadn't been cut out enough. And not only that the cut outs were not blended at all.I had gotten a recommendation by two people to go here, I don't know why. The smell is super nauseating and they don't vent the place or even try to air it out at all!! And My nails looked like crap, right from the start. Won't be going back here. Read Less

Yesterday I had Thai take my old nails off and replace them. I had gotten coffin nails 2 weeks before at another salon and they were horrible. This time the shape of the nail, the color the the whole process made me so happy. The are the BEST nails I have ever had. He was very friendly and made to appointment enjoyable. Got my nails done here 2 weeks ago, shellac on the fingers and regular on toes. Within 2 days I had a chip on fingers, 4 days later I had another and now less than 2 weeks I have another one. I felt the place wasn't very clean at all and in fact there was mouse or rat droppings on the washroom floor. Also I did not see one of those machines to disinfect the tools. The only reason I have 2 stars is that they fixed 2 of my nails within the few days and the staff was pleasant. I will not be returning here though. Read Less

Great place for facials, they use Eminence. I think I have had 3 facials by Cinda there, she is very nice. Vietnamese run, clean, friendly environment. I used to go for pedicures there, when it was under different ownership (Diamante), but I had a pedicure done by a new girl once, the owner wasn't happy with her job, made her do it over. My butt was so sore for sitting for almost 2 hours, and I'm not positive, but I think I got foot fungus from that place or another one, had to take pills to get rid of it. I just do my own now, less time, and way cheaper. Go for the facials, not the pedicure. Looks like they do great gel and fake nails, but I never get manicures of any kind. Not even deserving of the one star. The technician doing my nails got mad at me for not having a design picked out and ready to go before my appt even started, he was pushy and telling me what he's going to do to my nails, he wouldn't let me choose the design. He treated me like he thought women are stupid and can't make decisions on our own, clearly we need his expert manly advice on nail designs. Then while doing my nails he never even bothered to grind them down just glued them on, left them super fat and awkward looking, and was literally 5 mins each nail as tv was more important. So to sum it all up I paid for rude service, fat ugly nails with a design I didn't choose and or want. Never going here again. AMAZING. FANTASTIC. I got a gel fill and white gel with silver glitter tips. $60 after tips and it was worth it! The last nail tech i went to to get a new gel set screwed it up. almost every nail was bumpy and i had to go home to fix the shape. But Cody fixed the bumpy nails and gave me exactly what I wanted! The salon has a monomer liquid smell (the liquid for the acrylic powder) and the nail techs aren't talkative but the silence isn't awkward. My nail tech Cody also gave me my own baggy with a file, buffer, and file bit to take home (you b ring it back to the salon when you go back for a fill etc). He was also extremely gentle when he was doing the filing and buffing. i have a bad cuticle biting habit so my cuticles were all raw  but he didn't hurt me at all. This place is garbage. Used to get my nails done here then one of the guys doing nails got all perverted while giving me a pedi. Took a long break from them then started getting my lashes done since it close and cheap. Walked in 5 mins before my appointment and they made me sit there for 30 past my appointment start time without a single up date on when I would be helped. I've see people having to wait and ignored but couldn't believe the bad service that they have until your on the receiving end. Read Less

This place does not sanitize their foot basins! Dirty every time. Cleanliness standards are very low in general, just look at the bathroom. Thet also have bad service. I've been here 3 times and never get greeted or acknowledged, make appointments but still have to wait like 20 minutes. Wanted to give them a 3rd chance as location and price are good, but they suck. She has however gotten too quick and I presume comfortable that she tends to rush now and I found air bubbles in my nails the last visit. Shellac generally lasts for about 2 weeks or so depending on how you use your hands in that time. It's been 2 weeks and 3 days today since I got a Schellac manicure. Lifting and slight chipping has begun but otherwise they did a great job. Called to book an appointment and was told to come in 20 min. When I arrived they had several appointments and walk-ins already. Only had to wait 15 min. which was alright. But then Cody rushed through my shellac manicure to get to the next client. Didn't push back my cuticles or even catch my hang nails. The shellac looks nice. Also do not go there if you are sensitive to smells! The chemical smell is VERY over powering. Had a headache by the time I left. Price is very reasonable though. Read Less

Called a few hours ahead and booked for an appointment. I git an acrylic fill which was done very nicely. The girl really took the time to see if I was ok with the length, style and colour. I have only gone to Fusion Beauty Skin & Nails a handful of times, but I have not been disappointed once. I jump between salons to find the perfect nail tech as I can be quite particular and quite picky and since I started going to see Cody, I can't find a single reason not to come back. The prices are extremely reasonable for what you get. Cody is beyond talented and skillful at what he does. This is the second time I have had my nails done by him and I can honestly say that he does not disappoint at all. His attention to detail and his ability to work quickly, yet still be so detailed in his work makes him the best nail tech I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Fusion is a hidden gem and their nail techs are extremely talented. I would recommend Fusion to anyone and everyone and I will be returning again and again. Great price at $30 and amazing service for a pedicure. I walked in without an appointment and was seated right away. Service was thorough and the place was clean! Separate supplies were used for each customer. The nail tech working on my toes was very talkative and taking his time to do the job. I love this place! I had been told by someone that this was where they go for "cheap nails". And yes they are affordable, but they are also super long lasting! My nails had grown out for a full 4 weeks and there was no lifting or chipping. I am so impressed. The young man did my nails and he was very nice, funny and super fast! My full set took 45 minutes and my fill today only took 30. This is definitely the nail salon I will continue going to. Read Less

This place is pretty darn great. I've been to many nail places over the years, and its not often you find a place as clean as this one! They give you the tools they use to bring back for next time too! I already had rounded acrylic nails. John cleaned up the previous job and applied black sparkle powder french manicure style acrylics. I was skeptical at first as most nail places don't like to work over top of another shops work, but he seemed confident so I let him go for it. Boy am I impressed. Very thin and natural looking - Just the way I like it - and absolutely flawless shape. These guys are not super great conversationalists it seems, but for $44.90 I can't complain. I come into the city every couple of weeks and will come back to Fusion nails everytime :-)I'm giving them a 4/5 only because I prefer more chitchat, and they had the news on - which I find to be pretty depressing and boring. Well the place is cheap and does smell like a nail salon.  The ladies do struggle to speak English but are nice enough. The generally do a ok job. However when the lady came to my massage said she can't give as much pressure as the other girls cause he has gained weight and her belly sticks out.UM!!!WHAT!!!I am a registered massage therapist and still perform pressured massage for hours at 6 MONTHS pregnant.... You are massaging my legs for 7 minutes and just told me how slow your day was.  :(.  Not that I expect deep tissue from a untrained person on my legs but pressure and a bottom of a foot rub is expected.  Lose weight if it's effecting your job negitively.  It's not my problem Read Less
