I have been going to pure nails for about 7 months and have recommend them to all my friends who now also go.The service is excellent, they take their time on your nails and make sure you leave satisfied. I had the shellac peel off my thumb (first time it had ever peeled off) after 3 days and went back to get it fixed and they fixed it for free! I love this salon and love how long the polish lasts on my nails. Other salons my polish would peel off after bout 10-11 days. Here at pure nails I get a good 21 days before I have to go back. Been here at least five times and service has declined. I'll be going back to posh nail salon. HELEN did a rush job on my nails. Left me unattended while rushing off to her "clients". I had a mfing appt first and you treat other customers better?? Real niceeee. Read Less

I am relatively new to the area so I’ve been trying to find a nail salon that does my nails the way THEY SHOULD BE DONE. I was stuck at work super late but my nails were legit peeling after I had gotten them done at my local mall only a few days earlier. I googled nail salons close to work and this place had great reviews and it was close. I called at 6:50 to see if they would take me at 7:15 even though they close at 8. I let them know I needed my acrylic nails repainted and... a pedicure and they said no problem. I showed up after passing it a few times (never saw the place before), and it was beautiful! Very clean (super important to me), tons of colors to choose from (regular paint and gel). They brought me a fruit plate and bottled water (even a plate for my boyfriend), I was sat in the pedicure chair while I waited for someone to get free. While I waited Helen, the manager, came over and rewarmed my water. We discussed why I was there and she told me how they could make it right. The staff was friendly, they were perfectionists! This was my first visit after a friend recommended Pure. I walked in for a pedi with no appt and had a 5 minute wait on a Friday afternoon. Fresh fruit and bottled water???? And $7 less than my regular salon? The technician was great. She didn't rough handle my feet, was very patient with my super ticklish arches and did an amazing job with my cuticles. I'll be back! Horrible place to get your nails done the girl who did my manicure only did the polish 3/4 the length of my nail so then when it was all done the cuticle area of my nail was lighter than the rest of my nail it looked so terrible I asked if it could be fixed so then she drilled off one coat of the gel polish to reapply the polish ensuring me that it was fixable when it was done it looked exactly the same as before but now with drill scratches in my nails as the finished produc...t what a disappointment. This was my second bad experience and I will not return these people clearly aren't trained enough to do their job. In addition I had an appt with my friend that was made weeks ago but somehow it was never documented but management assured us we would be taken and sat right next to eachother my nail tech started on my nails while my friend sat there for 30+mins waiting for her nail tech to begin her service therefore i finished my service well ahead of my friend completely unorganized establishment do not go here! This was my first time here after having many people recommend it to me. Everyone there is so nice and polite! I think it's great that they offer water and fruit while you wait. I didn't have an appointment but I didn't have to wait too long even though they were pretty busy. I had Helen and she did a fantastic job on my nails! Mostly positive. Last time I asked three times for them to do my fingernails first. They honestly didn't listen. Despite waiting, my fingers smudged and I didn't have time to wait for them to fix them. Next time I will insist on it. The quality of pedicure is very good. Overall very clean and organized, no strong smell of chemicals or anything either. Not sure of who did my nails but the lady was very nice however her attention to detail was not quite there. She messed up the cuticle area of one of my fingers, it was jagged and just not a nice clean line so her solution was to use a nail file to correct the shape. It was a little painful to have her scraping my cuticle but on the whole it was okay. I told her it wasnt to my satisfaction so she agreed to add another coat of polish to cover the imperfection. It was fixed by that but I then had another layer of extra polish on that nail which made it look kind of thick and gloopy. Its not super noticeable, but like i said attention to detail wasnt her major concern. Overall the serivce and atmosphere were good for the price, i got shellac on my bare nails and it was around $40 with tip. Read Less

David is awesome . Always a good professional job. This salon is super clean. I used to go to another salon that always appeared to be dirty and dusty. At Advance your file and buffer is put in a plastic box with your name on it which is a very good service to prevent contamination . Parking can be tricky some times. Keep up the good work. I just had the worst pedicure ever, and I have had a lot of pedicures. From the time I sat in the chair until the time the woman shoved my flip flops on when she was done, I had been there 24 minutes.There were 2 women sitting next to me already having pedicures and I was finished before both of these women even had polish applied. It started with cold water, then went straight to clipping my nails. She did not even attempt to shape my toenails, some were cut and filed straight across and the others cut uneven. The calluses on my heels were dismissed with a quick file and she did not massage my feet or legs but instead rubbed them up and down vigorously which was rather uncomfortable. She couldn't even get the polish right! She painted them without toe separators and had to touch them up when she put my flip flops back on, and two nails were still smudged! And my little toe was half painted! She finished with telling me I could "sit there" while the polished dried but I declined. Biggest waste of $31.50 that I have ever spent. It's not like me to not leave a tip but this woman didn't deserve a nickel. I have always had great experiences in the past at this salon but I have to say now I won't be returning, or recommending. Doesn't even deserve the one star but had to choose otherwise it wouldn't let me post this. So unfortunate. Read Less

This salon is the cleanest by far in all of the South Surrey White Rock area. The staff are always friendly and nice. David the owner does an amazing job for acrylic and gel manicures and Gwen is my favourite for pedicures. If you decide to try them out get there early because they have about 300 shellac and regular Polish colours so choose from. They also have the largest OPI selection I've seen. Read Less
