Was there yesterday for their 2.5 hour Scent-uality package and the lady massaged me with GLOVES on!! I get massages in regular basis and have never had anybody in any other spas massaging with gloves on so the massage was not as good because of the gloves. Also she left me half an hour by myself in the room after putting my mask on. Again I have got many facials and the mask does not need to be on your face for half an hour. Perhaps they should advertise this package as only two hours one instead of 2.5? There was a confusion at the end as well as my husband had bought this gift for me and they were trying to tell me that he paid less and I have to pay the difference but after I refused , they checked their book and found out that he in fact had paid the full price!! I love going to Esthetique. Not only is it always a pleasant experience, but I am always so happy with the results. I have really sensitive cuticles, and even nice salons often leave me sore, but Natalie at Esthetique is a magician. I never have to worry when I see her. And my last pedicure, before going on holiday, lasted the whole two weeks, through being barefoot, in flip flops, on sand, in heels, etc etc - and still looked perfect when I got home. Plus, the colour Natalie recommended was so bold and pretty, that I actually got compliments on it. I always recommend this salon to friends and family, so it's about time to write a review here! I tried Esthetique Day Spa and was highly impressed. Eva is lovely and she made the whole experience fantastic, from arrival to departure. I had a facial and eyebrow wax and really felt that Eva took the time to get to know my skin and my personal needs before she started the facial, with the effect that I walked out looking and feeling great. I find it hard to find a skincare professional that walks the line between actually doing some lasting good to your skin and giving you a relaxing experience. This spa does an excellent job both.I found out they were voted best day spa by in their local area and can see why. Their location is warm, relaxing and quite beautiful. It's also very clean and looks like it's very well taken care of, not like some cheap nail places I've been to. It's a little pricier than the cheap nail places but reasonable overall and worth it.If you want quality spa services this is a great place. Their Pitt Meadows location is now easier to get to than ever with the Golden Ears and Pitt River bridges. Read Less

My Aunt (in-law) treated me to a basic pedicure and express manicure at Esthetique this weekend.  She is probably one of this salon's most loyal customers.  I would not dare say anything to her about what I think of it because I do not want to hurt her feelings and seem ungrateful, but I think she is getting royally ripped off here. The Basic Pedicure (60 minutes, $47)The service started with a 15-20 minute soak of my feet in a pedicure sink, which I thought was a little too long.  The remaining 40 minutes or so was spent by my nail tech gently smoothing out my rough skin, trimming my cuticles, shaping and buffing my nails, "massaging" my legs, and applying nail polish.  The "massage" itself was lame because I did not feel like I got a massage - it felt more like someone rubbing lotion on my legs for about a minute.  That said, I can't complain too much since the objective of the pedi - to have sandal-ready feet - was achieved.  The Express Manicure (30 minutes, $18)This was supposed to be a 30-minute service, but mine was over in about 20. The nail tech shaped and buffed my nails, trimmed my cuticles, and applied clear nail polish.  She did OK, but it was nothing great. I would have rather saved my Aunt her $18 because my nails did not look much better than they did before the manicure and my cuticles are now cracked and a bit inflamed.Conclusion The staff are nice enough, but they do just a "meh" job and I therefore do not feel that paying to get a mani/pedi here is money well spent.   If I weren't so gutless, I would tell my Aunt to save her money and seek better and/or less expensive alternatives to this place.
