There's lots ups and down to this place. It really depends who your nail technician is. One thing I really dislike abt this place is they force you to leave tip. There were several occasion where I wasn't too happy with the person who did my nails and when it comes to tip, I think it should be optional. However, the owner kept asking r you not leaving tip for the girls? It sounded very pushy. Also, the price they quote you before they start your nails changes to higher when you have to pay. Horrible workmanship, cut my skin multiple times which has now resulted in an infection. I asked for a simple color with a matte finish which they didn't know what that was. Their sign out front said one price for a gel mani which turns out is a joke cause they charged me $90 for a gel mani gel pedi with a matte finish when the sign said $30 for a gel mani.....which makes the pedi $60... the paint chipped off the next day!!! I agree with the past negative reviews They speak to each other in their own language and totally ignore the customer../very rude Also the owner is abrupt and arrogant I also had a French mani turn brown within a couple of weeks..it must be something in the products they use I have had excellent pedicures here, but I once had to have a repair on a nail done , and they were extremely reluctant to fix it I would give them a thumbs up for how incredibly long their pedicures last Read Less

I dont underestand the other commwnts about this place. These people are hard working, nice people who would even stay longer to satisfy costumers. I went for my appointment and requested an acrylic nail set. I was given something else entirely and was charged $68 for the pleasure. Came back for the fill and that was $50 and I did not ask for shellac. Good bye Tiffany, my next fill is booked at my usual salon where they actually listen to my requests and treat me with kindness and respect. I get pedicures every 6 weeks and I've always had a great experience here. My only complaint is that customers have to tip the technicians in cash and I never carry cash. The manager won't allow you to add the tip to your credit card. Read Less

I love getting my nails done here.  I kept trying new places that were more convenient for me location wise and I regretted it every time.  Tiffany's does the best work and is the cleanest salon by far.  Every night they sanitize the tools in a disinfectant and then they are placed in an autoclave that further sterilizes them.  Love that.  I've been to many different ladies at this salon and they all do the best work, and I'm very picky!  Love this place. There are lots of scary reviews on here and I don't know why that is because I come here all the time and LOVE it. I usually make sure to book with Jessica, because she has so much skill and experience and is so kind. I also had Lily, who was very sweet! I only ever get gel mani so that's all the service I knowThe atmosphere is very nice and the staff are honest about their services -- they will warn you before you choose a gel that will last less time. I've seen them handle some pretty rude and demanding customers well. Their cleanliness is wonderful, they open a cleaned set of mail supplies every time and won't cheap on you, and they listen to me when I say I don't want my cuticles cut!My manicures from Jessica have lasted about 2 weeks but I stretch it out to 3. I wish they'd last longer but that's probably my fault. The BEST part is their prices. Cheaper than most places. I come all the way from east Van by transit to come here. Read Less

My daughter recommended this salon to me since she has always had very positive experiences. I booked an appointment for a mani-pedi and everything was perfect! The girls were very sweet, funny, and seemed happy to serve me. They helped me to pick out the perfect shade of polish and  were always trying to make sure that I was always satisfied with what they were doing. This place is horrible!!!!! They filed down my natural nail to much that there is no nail left on the sides and it's so painful!!!! I told the lady that it was hurting but she kept filing anyways! She didn't put the acrylic right to the edges of my nails so it looks bad and because of that when she was shaping the nail she would be filing my natural nail cause she didn't put enough acrylic. It is so painful and she made me bleed! Everyone is so rude! Especially Tiffany! She spoke to me like I was stupid, and she got so mad that I was 2 min late for my appointment. I wasn't' the only one she was being rude to, she was even being rude to her workers and other customers. One girl that was getting her nails done asked for gel and the owner thought she meant just gel on top of her natural nails and when the customer said "no I want extensions", instead of saying sorry I thought you meant this, we don't have time right now can we rebook? she said "we will just do your nails with the gel on the natural nail" and made her pay for work she didn't want done!!!!! This place is so bad! They are so rude and they filed my natural nail OFF so now my nail is in so much pain. I told her that it hurt where she was filing and I told her she was filing my nail and not the fake nail but she kept filing anyways and made me bleed. The ladies that work here are lovely, but the man the runs the place is so rude and terrible! I booked myself, cousin, mom and aunty in for manis and pedis, my mom and aunty decided to just get manis when we got there- they did not tell they wanted to do this, so I had no idea they were going to change it, and the man that owns the shop got so angry at me! He actually yelled at me in front of everyone in the spa and would not let my mom and aunty sit near us. So we all left without getting anything done. It was honestly brutal, I never leave bad reviews, but it was so embarrassing and I was so excited for us all to get these done together right before my wedding, I actually cried when we walked out. I was recommended Tiffanys by a friend on FB when I had posted about looking for a good nail salon. I was going on vacation the next day so I really wanted my nails done that day and I got booked in! My mom came in with me since we were spending the day together and i got a lady named Anne. All I haveto say about Anne is she is very rude! She wouldn't allow me to talk when everyone around us were talking and everytime I said 1 word to my mom she would hush me. I asked for chrome nails but when she had finished the nail polish before chrome, I loved it so much that I asked to keep it that way and she responded angrily with " WHY WOULDN'T YOU TELL ME BEFORE" I feel this was extremely rude as I am a customer and I choose my nails not her. I came here a couple of times.  Ultimately I won't go back.  There is a strange vibe, I somehow feel like the staff are not treated especially well. There is an impersonal assembly line feeling to it.  There is a chemically smell that is worse than other salons. The man that apparently runs the place is not friendly, nor is the atmosphere. I really enjoyed my first experience here! I walked right in, was seated immediately. I showed some pics to the girl who was going to be my tech, Chloe, of what I wanted and she said no problemo. I was out of there in less than an hour with one of the best acrylic nail jobs I've had. I didn't have to correct her once. It was also very reasonably priced! The other thing I appreciated was that the chemical smell was very low and most of the time I didn't even notice it. It was also very clean.
