If you're in a pinch, need a fast service that ain't fancy nor is it remarkable, come on in!The service was quick, not painless, of course, but fast. They book themselves pretty tightly, so if you can't be on time for your appointment, you'd best be fifteen minutes early. Also, don't park at the Royal Bank. They might tow you, and you won't have time to move it if that is the only spot available and you're within ten minutes of your appointment."Will RBC tow my car? So pleased with this location. I was greeted the second I walked in, the front desk girl was very pleasant. I had Heather for my waxing and she was amazing she was fast and was really good with distracting me and advising me with which wax was because for me. I went to the Yaletown location a year ago and had the worst experience there so I was a little hesitant to go but this location is by far the most cleanest and most friendliest. So I've had Brazilian waxes done 3 times prior to coming to Stripped, and they were all at different places and were really great. I recently moved to the north shore and decided to give Stripped a try. I hadn't checked Yelp just googled and saw some great reviews. I'm not sure if it was just me being overly sensitive on that particular day (this was about a month or so ago) or what exactly but the waxing process itself was the most painful and unpleasant I have had to date. My body was fully lifting off the bed with each strip removed (and I'm a bigger girl) and I found myself actually crying out in pain multiple times. After maybe 10 minutes in my whole body was having cold sweats as I was trying to grit through the pain. When it was done there was some blood drawn which I've never experienced before although it is a common thing with Brazilian waxing. I was sore and extremely uncomfortable after the appointment and the next day I discovered I had some pretty significant bruising, as well as there were quite a few patches of hair left too. Not new growth, but mature hair that was definitely long enough to be waxed off. I work at a salon myself and am quite knowledge about waxing. The place itself it quite cute and clean, and the staff is very professional and friendly. Booking was a breeze and parking was good too (not always easy in Lower Lonsdale!). I had another Brazilian done at a different place a few days ago and the pain level was SO much lower and it was a way better experience, so I probably won't be back to Stripped. Read Less

Just walked out of Stripped North Vancouver and I feel amazing! Right from the time you walk in the door, the salon is amazingly clean, the receptionist is so friendly and Denise is outstanding. It had been years since I've had a Brazilian and the care and time she took her time and I swear every little hair is gone. This is such a good find and it is worth the drive from Port Moody. I've had my fair share of brazillian waxes and I have to say: NATALIE IS AMAZING. She gets every single hair! Prices are average. $38 for a brazillian. I've seen less and I've seen more expensive. I had never tried waxing before, so I was quite nervous going to the wax bar, but the ladies are extremely friendly, and helped calm my nerves.  Each lady I have had has been professional, friendly and carries on conversation while waxing.  This salon is VERY clean, well kept and NO double dipping! Tried many waxing salons around Lower Lonsdale and always had bad experiences until... Stripped opened last summer. Very very clean, bright (ohmy finally one salon where they don't wax you in the dark!) and professional. Like very professional: as close to relax as a hair removal session can be. Usually I book with Nathalie but both are great and are so nice and kind that you forget that's it's supposed to be a painful and awkward moment!Oh and they have very good product line. You have to ask if you want information about it, yep for once, a shop where they are not pushy about selling their products!As a bonus: good music, ultra comfy table and pillow, funny artwork and big smile for the staff. Got a Brazilian from here before I went to Mexico. i had a great experience and thats hard to say especially because it was my first time getting a Brazilian wax. Natalie was the one who waxed me, she was so kind and didn't make it feel awkward.  Definitely coming back here, especially because I didn't get any rashes due to my sensitive skin!
