Do not go here. Horrible customer service, overpriced for the quality you get. My nails started fading at the cuticle two days after my shellac manicure. I sent a photo and email to the owner, she told me to come in. I couldn't get in for a week, and when I did , all 5 staff were talking to me, the owner yelling (I couldn't understand her very well so I asked if I could speak to one of the other English speaking girls) , they just ignored me. She told me their policy is 1 week, yet this started happening after two days. I went in for a fill, and asked for a free colour change ($15), she said no. Decided to try a salon closer to home and what a disappointment. Very rude young lady did my nails. She was rough, insisted the colour was the same as the sample ( wasn't even close) and was more interested in her phone.The gel nails are chipping within 24 hours. I will try another place. Before this experience I had been to Seymour nails many times and had been happy with the service. A couple weeks ago I had fake nails put on, with regular polish on top, I came back today to have them removed. The woman did not follow proper protocol to remove them (soaking in acetone and filing them off), instead she simply yanked the nails off causing a great amount of pain and damage to my nail bed. When she was done she did a lazy and uneven job of filing my nails, and then asked me to pay $15. I was in absolute disbelief. 15 dollars to yank something off my nails????!! She told me it was the "touch up fee". Touch up????? My nails looks worse than they ever have and I paid 15 dollars for it. Do not go to this salon, they are unlicensed scammers. I got my nails acrylic nails and shellac done here. And I guarantee you that I will never come back. Within three days I had to come back TWICE because the shellac kept coming off. The second time I came, they told me that there were cracks in the acrylic nail, which no one could explain to me as to how it's happened. Then instead of using an actual nail dryer. They asked me to hold my nail to the light to "dry" it. When I complained, the owner acted like she couldn't care less.I will never, ever, EVER recommend anyone to this place. Read Less

I started going here about a year ago. I like it. No frills, but they do a good job. I've had one experience only where my manicure started to chip the very next day, but every other time I've gone, it lasts for a while - especially their pedicures. It's a great afternoon trip to get nails done with a friend, then have amazing coffee next door at Belmondo. :) Read Less

I just had a pedicure and I must say the service was very  poor. I walked in and all 6 of the nail technicians didnt say hello. I then had to wait 30 minutes to start because they overbooked. When it was finally my turn the pedicure itself took about 10 minutes which is quite quick. I then felt like I was forgotten about as she started working on everyone elses nails. I had to wait what probably wouldve ended up being another 30 minutes if I didnt have to take 3 minutes tryna flag the technician down so I could leave. I came here because I bought their Groupon deal for "2 Deluxe manicures and pedicures with hand and foot paraffin treatments" at 55% off.  I paid $35 for this great deal.  But that was as far as the greatness went in this experience.  I wouldn't go back if I had a choice.  But since I paid for 2 treatments, I have to go back to redeem the rest of my Groupon before the expiry date.First of all, making an appointment was difficult.  I couldn't get an appointment time I wanted. They're not open on Sundays. When I asked for a 2:30pm appointment, she offered me 10:30am!  Uhhh...that's not exactly flexibility.It's an OK place, no frills, no luxurious spa feeling to it.  The "Deluxe" mani/pedi took only HALF AN HOUR combined.  That seems ridiculously short even with 2 girls working on me at the same time.  My pedicure alone should have been 45 minutes.  I spent more time letting my mani dry under the machine than it took for the girl to do the actual mani.  The mani started out promising with the paraffin treatment.  From then on, it was RUSH RUSH RUSH.  I didn't even get a proper hand massage.  All she did was rub in 2 drops of lotion on each hand.  I also found her very "rough" with my hands during the mani.  She wasn't gentle putting my hands down, lifting up the other one.  It was more like yanking my hands here and there for her convenience, not for my comfort and relaxation.I also received no paraffin for the pedi - even though the Groupon clearly states "Hand and foot paraffin treatments".  I asked when I was paying why I didn't get the paraffin with my pedicure - she said they gave me the sugar scrub instead.  A sugar scrub INSTEAD???  Isn't a scrub standard for a pedicure?  I was not happy with that explanation.  I should have gotten what they advertised in the Groupon, where it clearly states hand AND FOOT paraffin treatments.I would not come back to this nail salon after I claim my last mani/pedi with the Groupon.  By the way, the Groupon deal only gave me 1 voucher, so they marked it as "Redeemed" but gave me a stamped business card so I can go back and claim the other one next time.  I also kept my receipt (from paying the tax on the Groupon) and stapled it to the stamped business card so I can prove I already paid the taxes next (and last) time I go back.I really miss my old nail salon in Markham ON (Oak Nails) where they treated me like a valued (and wanted) customer.  I went back again and again because they treated me right.  Seymour Nail needs to learn this simple business concept.  30 minutes for a "deluxe" mani & pedi is just ridiculous.
