This place was was a complete disaster. It took them 2 hours to do a terrible job of a basic mani pedi for my friend and me. The lady who was doing my friends nails was extremely rude and didn't do half the things we was meant to, such as lotion her hands, remove the ingrown which, she saw that she messes up and then pretended to not see it. Then the lady who was working on me was extremely painful and rude. I had to keep asking her to not press so hard when she was cutting off the cuticle, or when she was filling she kept burning into my skiing under my nail. Second time here for a pedicure. Was in the chair for over an hour. No massage, no moisturizer, and when I asked for another coat because it wasn't done properly I had to wait. Won't be back. What a great service... Ive been to so many around the entire lower mainland searching for great foot care.  Not just a polish !!  I have arthritis in my feet and they hold a lot of tension and pain ..... she was very attentive of what was going on in there.  Loved it !!! As a guy, I don't like to fret too much over my hair but it's important to have the appearance I desire. Whenever I go to the salon I never have to worry; Kristy seems to know intuitively exactly what to do and is a bit of a perfectionist to boot. Love this little nail spot! The prices are fantastic, and the work is pretty decent. I always see Neil for my shellac, that guy works wonders! The two acrylic jobs I've had done here have been average, but they sure stick on for a really long time! I've never had acrylic stay on as long as it does when I get them done here! However, they lose some points because on quite a few occasions I've booked an appointment and have had to wait 20 mins or so to be seated even though I've booked the appointment days in advance. Do not recommend this place too stronly because they are not very gentle with you. I went there today had gel full set done& they cut me 3 times and I was bleeding. First the lady filed my nail too roughly literally my skin was filed off on my pinky. Then she cut my skin open( she was getting very close with the edge) with the eletric nail file. I get my nails done every three weeks. yes, sometimes, they switch during the procedure, but all of them are so good, why would it matter. This is the best place, for manis and pedis, that I have ever been to on the North Shore! Read Less

Ha such a bad experience. they dont say no to any customer that comes with no appointment so a 40 min thing takes 3 hours or more. some of the workers are so rude. and you never know who is gonna finish your nails cause they are keep changing their seat. last time a guy doing my nails and he went to answer the phone the woman came to do it instead and when i said i want him to finish my nails ,she replied so angry and rude. i love caroline as a colorist and stylist. yest i went and had my usual hair color done. the only thing different was she bleached my roots so we could start fresh. now mind you i am the type of person that uses vivid colors pink and purple highlights. for some reason the appt took a long long time, but they usually do take a few hours cause it is a few steps to the final result. not once did kristi the owner come up to me and give me a heads up about the price was looki...ng to be much more. when i checked out, instead of my usual sub $100 the price was $175. i did not have a haircut done or my eyebrows done. never in my life have i EVER been charged that much for hair color alone. she even charged me for the time it took...since when does a salon do that? caroline did not even have any appts come in or an appt after me. kristi took full advantage of the fact that i like to do different things to my hair. and she may be jealous that caroline is probably much better than her. as far as i am concerned she is a total crook with zero remorse. she didn't care that i was planning on becoming a long term customer or not. its so obvious she treats caroline like crap and it makes it uncomfortable for the customers,,,,,i know for a fact i am not the only one that notices it. they probably troll the internet and erase all their negative reviews, thats how dishonest they are. i will be going to the city voter site to submit my personal account to make sure you never make the "hot list" also as you can see this will be posted to my Facebook account and i will ask all my friends to copy and repost. no thanks to you , but c caroline you are great........frankie See More Read Less

First time to Jealousy Nails and Spa! Loved it! I went to Nancy as a walk in for a mani-pedi. Half way through I was worried that I was getting the deluxe (which was above my budget) but it turns out their regular is just really, really nice!!! Massage was perfect, clean equipment, calm atmosphere, just enough conversation but enough quiet to relax. Very happy with my polish job too! At the end of my appointment she gave me my own kit for free for my repeat appointments! Very reasonable price and a very caring staff. Nancy was 100% attention on me. No answering phones, yelling/talking to staff across the room (which I have witnessed at many other salons) or other distractions such as getting up to get other tools that she forgot etc...
