Extremely disappointed. In less than a week after I got my nails filled I had to come back in three times as my nails continued to fall off. I do not have a job with heavy manual labor or engaged in any activities that would have provoked this. Upon my third trip, the manager told me I had to pay for his work. I told him this was ridiculous as I had to take the time out of my busy day to return for the third time, after my initial fill less than a week prior, to pay for their... poor work. Ignoring me for half the conversation, instead he proceeded to yell over my head to his employees in a language I did not understand, which I found extremely rude, then told me I must pay. Finally realizing he did not in any way understand good customer service and was not seeing reason whatsoever, I put my money down and told him I would not be back. Don't waste your time. Had to haircut a while ago by owner, she shouldn't be cutting hair not sure if she knows exactly what she's doing it was coloured the wrong tone they tried to fix it twice !! and it still wasn't right. Don't do something to someone's hair if you can't accomplish it properly! Their excuse was you can't get the proper tone The first time around. CHOP has been through its up and downs, but I have never had a bad experience there. My hair always looks fantastic, the staff is friendly and accommodating, it's a nice and comfortable atmosphere, and I will continue going to them regularly for my hair. I went in at noon and booked a hair appointment for 2pm this afternoon. I made sure to ask that the stylist was comfortable doing short hair cuts and was assured she was. Two phone calls from Chop later, trying to get me to reschedule, at 1pm they told me "the stylist can't do short hair." I'm assuming I just got bumped, or the stylist isn't available after all, but either way, if the booking is this unprofessional, I don't really feel comfortable getting my hair cut there. Read Less

After several bad hair cuts and unpleasant experiences I knew it was time to get my hair done again, so this time I called Chop. The Owner recommended I see Jayson. I was a bit nervous when I arrived but Jayson made me feel at ease. He had many engaging stories and I found myself laughing at his jokes while he trimmed away. The end result? I have been going to Chop since they opened for all of their services, and I have always left happy. The staff are always open and inviting and very helpful with all of my needs, I have curly hair so my hair can be tough for some people to cut, But I've been to most of the stylists and they are all great with my sometimes unruly hair.I get my nails and waxing done there as well, And I've never been displeased with the service I've gotten,The Lady who does both services is professional and friendly and I've never had a single service from her that I didn't like.Plus I love that shes always open to my wild and fun nail ideas.All in all, I love that I can come here, and get my hair, nails and waxing done at once, and emerge a brand new woman.:) Read Less

I could hardly wait to write a reveiw for the wonderful service I recieved by the staff at Chop and when i got here to do so I was soo dismayed and dissapointed to see what some other person has written about the nail tech. :( wow she sounds like she is talking about a totally different girl from the one that looked after me .. and I do know there is only one girl there for nails.you just can't please em all i suppose and thats okie.. for she sure did my nails great!! I will be uploading a pic to show mine as well . somtimes it takes a person a few times getting a service done to have the complete understanding of what a person likes or dislikes .it has been my experience at other places I have gone to that it may take the hair dresser or nails tech or whoever a few times with me to find the perfect niche and to know exactly how I like things .. So after 3 weeks of waiting for this appointment (I cancelled once due to work and she cancelled on me twice), I was very dissatisfied.They are very choppy looking and i can see her file marks under the Gel. The smile lines are very high and look un natural. I can also see little air bubbles under them.The lady that did them was very unprofessional as well, she swore a few times and yes I may be younger but I did not expect that at all.I did like how I asked for Gel nails and they were actual Gel nails and not acrylic with Gel ontop.I may have been her last appointment of the day, but i still should have received great service. I didnt even get the option of any nail art. I am going elsewhere tomorrow to get them removed andd will never go back! Read Less

This review for the nail tech only, I have not had a haircut at this salon.I have had a full set of nails put on at this place and let me say that it was by far the worst experience I have ever had in a nail salon! It was right away a bad sign that she kept talking about how great she was and how she has the best skills. I did not see these skills. My nails were so thick that it was absurd, and not to mention embarrassing! This was not my first set of nails, I have had nails on and off for years and the application was very painful for some reason and she kept "nicking" my cuticles and making them bleed (and she acts like its no big deal that your bleeding alot and doesnt even apologize).Due to the convenience of the location for me I did in fact go back for a fill and I was charged $60 for a FILL and the nails are just bad!! When I went to a different salon to have them removed as they could not do anything with them I felt terrible for the tech as she couldn’t even cut the nails off as they were too thick to fit into the cutter...she used 7 files to take those nails off!Right now she is offering half price sets of nails; do not be fooled into this deal as it is not worth it because you will have to repay someone else to take them off and reapply a full set.The owner lady is nice but is blind to the terrible work her nail tech is doing that is costing her clients (if you think she does good work it just shows how little experience you have in this field). Because of the bad nail service I was way too scared to ever have my hair done!Overall Painful, sloppy, no attention to detail and no pretty finished productAs you can see in the picture they are way wider at the ends and slightly yellow!
