Found myself in Mission with some girlfriends ahead of our friend's wedding this past weekend, and we decided to get our nails did. I'm not sure of the name of any of our technicians because none of them were very chatty. It was kind of an....unusual experience haha. The main issue seemed to be that none of the Shellac nail samples actually matched the colour inside the bottles, so we had picked a colour based on the sample, and then the tech opened the bottle and it was.... not even close. There was one that was a nice greige on the sample, but was a bright barbie pink in the bottle. Finally picked what looked like a nice neutral but it came out a pinky-purple! I've never had that happen with any shellac at other salons, so it was an interesting time. This is by far the most amazingly relaxing Gel Mani-Pedi I've ever had.  Tom, the owner was awesome!  Love his customer service skills and how well he took care of me.  The technician, Trang did an amazing job on my nails.  This is going to be my nail salon from now on.  Love this place and it's reasonable pricing!  Thank you Tom and Trang for taking such good care of me.  Made my first experience the best one ever! I have been going to Crystal Nails for years and have never experienced what I did today. A nail tech by the name of Gina was the rudest, most disrespectful person I have come across. She was raising her voice and making very rude comments and arguing and aggressive, and behaving this way in front of all of the other customers and employees. The other customers were shaking there heads and mouthing to me they couldn't believe her behaviour. While trying to pay, another girl working there jumped up to intervene as she was still acting aggressive, the other employee said no charge and agreed of Gina's unbelievable behaviour along with all the customers. Gina continued to argue with the employee now and saying no she's paying and continued her aggressive behaviour now with her co - worker. Gina than continued to the back room all the while yelling and continuing to show her aggressive behaviour. This doesn't even explain in full the reality of all the events that occurred, crystal nails has lost a few good customers today and with all the competition in mission, this will hurt your business, as my family and friends come here as well and I'm sure PD nails will all appreciate our business from now on. Not to mention word of mouth is a huge business make or break!! Do yourself a favor of you are looking for a nail place and dont go there, as it is suppose to be a place to relax and pamper yourself not be treated poorly. P.S. We recently moved to Mission and after having a horrible experience at another nail salon earlier yesterday I called Crystal Nails for a last-minute appointment to fix my nails.  Jimmy was so helpful and fit me in within a few hours with Heidi.  When I arrived, I showed them what I wanted and they were very honest and helpful with what it would require.  I decided on a different look, and Heidi not only fixed the mess I had, but did a phenomenal job!  I love my nails and can't wait for my next appointment in two weeks!  Honest, great quality work and friendly staff is a win! I've been consistently happy with the service at Crystal Nails, unlike similar nail studios in the area which just don't offer the same quality services. If you want consistent and fabulous nails every time you get them done, I'd recommend this salon. It gets busy though, so make sure you call ahead, especially on weekends! Read Less

Excellent and friendly service.  There's a bit of a language barrier and if you have a problem understanding Asian accents, this isn't going to be a place for you.   All staff I've met so far speak Vietnamese fluently and accented English.  Manicures and pedicures turn out beautifully every time.
