I went to get my nails done yesterday, it took over 2 hours to do the chrome on my acrylic nails. I got some new guy who clearly did not know what he was doing. My nails are uneven, short and not coffin shaped at all! I will be calling them on mon to tell them how upset I am. He also didn’t chrome the entire nail, they look awful for $65 I could have gotten much nicer nails in Vancouver. Never going here again. Read Less

Got my nails done here & they all broke off on one hand the next day by running my fingers through my hair....... I got them fixed for free. The next week, the other hand broke 😁🤬 The ladies here will bicker about you infront of you. I forgot my nail files & i was willing to buy new ones & she made the nail technician use someone elses nasty files 🤢 she kept saying “whats the problem she forgot hers it’s what she gets” like ew??? How can u ensure your customers that your 100% sanitized WHEN YOUR NOT also my nails have never looked uglier. Extremely wonky, uneven, crooked, not filed properly. Amazing service and they do a beautiful job!! I'm extremely picky, and needed to find a place that could fit me in last minute because my usual salon was booked. They got me in the day I called, and within 2 hours. My nails ended up being by far the nicest set I've ever had! They have an endless selection of colors, including the hologram and chromes which I've looked everywhere for! My usual salon had a couple chromes but not many. I've ended up making this my regular salon. I also love how sanitary they are. I am a licensed nail tech myself and used to do nails. For $1 they give you your own file and buffer that you take with you and bring back each time you come back. Most salons will just use the same files on everyone which is how you spread fungus and bacteria. Files and bidders can't be cleaned because they are porous and trap dirt and bacteria. My expience here was horrible. The first time they cut my nail with a nail file. Then after sanitized my finger with nail polish remover. The second time, I had accidentally threw my gift certificate in the garbage. I called to see if there was anything they could do for me. The woman was rude, and yelling at me. Being in the beauty industry I understand difficult customers, and long days. However, this was very dissappointing, and sad to see as I was a customer here for a long time. Read Less

This review is after going for 2 years speratically. Recent :Twice I booked for 2 people for 1. Pedicure and manicure and 2. Just pedicure for 1 and manicure pedicure for the second person First of all both times they said no only book for 1 person when i called back to ensure we had the 2 spots. Secondly they rushed through the entire thing. I've gone alot and after the last appointment I won't be returning. Not only are they not booking properly and keeping them but they rush through all the appointments. The quality with some girls is good but others horrible. It's such a hit and miss. Only positive is they have nail kits they you take home and bring back. So it's your own for sanitary reasons. I just went to get my accrilics taken off and the lady who was doing it stabbed me in the finger with a PAINTING TOOL (why are you using a painting tool) and when I told her it hurt she just rolled her eyes at me and kept going. If I could give less than one star I would. Read Less

First and last time I will be visiting this salon. The nail tech did a horrible job. Then when I politely pointed it out all the missed spots she said it was because my hands were dry. TJ nails was the worst nail salon I have ever been to. I got french shellac done on my real nails. There were fabric fibers in the gel and within two days it started peeling down the sides, all the way to the white tips. I went back within a week and they told me I had to pay to get them Redone! I wouldn't go back here. The ladies were nice, but I've had my shellac nails for just over a week and they've already chipped in some spots and some nails look like they're about to peel off. The lady who was doing my nails (I think her name is Chi Chi) looked like she was in a rush like she had another appointment to get to. The application of the polish was completely uneven and overflowed onto my skin in a couple spots. She even got some of the clear gel polish on my skin. She did a super sloppy job. Also the nail art I got on my nails were not done well. The lines were mostly squiggly and blotchy. Overall I am very disappointed with my nails, especially after replacing my beautiful polish job (from Crystal Nails in New Westminster, who did an excellent job and which lasted me much longer) with this sloppy work. The receptionist was excellent; friendly and helpful. The person who did my nails, however, did a poor job. I had gelish done, and the coats were too thick and leaked against the edge of my finger. She trimmed it back, but in the process lifted away some of the polish on the nail so it is no longer sealed. On another finger, something rough is stuck underneath the layers and looks and feels bubbly instead of smooth. It wasn't a horrible experience, but I won't be going back because the quality of the finished product is unfortunately just not very good. Read Less

Most horrific nail experience ever! Made an appointment for a routine polish removal to remove gel polish. Had my nails cut so short my finger tips still hurt over a week later. Completely demolished my nails & cuticles. I naturally have hard, thick nails and for the first time in my life I experienced CHIPPING & PEELING of my nails and numerous hang nails. Over a week later, my hands are still in pain. They did such a terrible job removing the polish, I ended up having to redo my nails myself. A complete waste of my time and money. Should have just made an appointment with 5-Star Nails where I usually go in Vancouver - Judy always does a fantastic job and always charges a fair price for services. Unless you want your hands destroyed for weeks, don't go here! Read Less

Visiting family in maple ridge , went here with my aunt , it was nice and clean and staff was friendly. They did a great job , the best part is the girls actually pay attention to you and don't talk on their phones the whole time !! Winning !!! Read Less
