I went here and had my nails done and I was very unhappy so I messaged them. They seemed to be very helpful and said I could come in and have them fixed/redone. I messaged back letting them know I would remove my nails and come in to have a new set put on. I made an appointment to have them redone and when I arrived after driving 25 minutes Nancy, the owner, informed me she would NOT redo them or give me a refund. I didn't have a good time @ city nails yesterday, from the moment I walked in the old lady made it seem like I was such an inconvenience, rushed& did such a horrible job on my white type acrylic nails ( different lengths, the white is all un even and look chunky )... Extremely rude talking in her language and laughing the whole time, until I mentioned that my middle finger nail was extremely short she didn't bother asking me personal questions or anything, she was trying to change the subject and ignoring the fact I wasn't happy, if it wasnt after 5 I would have stayed there and made them redo them but every other lady was busy. Posted on 2017.07.15 I will never go back here ever again $93 for a Mani pedi with shellac and the nail polish looks like a week worth of growth because it's not close to the cuticle, plus IT'S SHELLAC I have had then done less than 12 hrs ago and they chipped??????? I have gone here since high school and the family that runs it does a really good job. All the girls that work here are careful with your nails, use different techniques to treat your nails and take off polish so they do not damage/weaken your nails. They also will usually do extra touch ups and add ons without me even asking and without charging me extra. This is my go to place for realistic prices and great nails. Read Less

Got an acrylic nail fill here today. Nails are nice and thin, and well shaped. All things I look for in a good fill. I'm not a fan of shellac on my acrylic as it adds so much thickness. When I selected regular polish, she didn't push like so many other salons. Even better was it was a good quick job done in under 45 minutes for only $25! Will be going back for all my fills from now on. I saw some complaints about everyone speaking in Vietnamese, being rude, etc. Yes, they speak Vietnamese but they also communicate well in English. Maybe I'm just used to services like this speaking something other than English though. Whatever. They do a good job, I'm happy. Read Less

Terrible, rude, miserable service! This guy looked like he was so disgusted with having to do my nails- I literally felt sorry for him. Threw my hands around like he owned me. No talking or even trying to communicate at all. He conveniently tried to talk to me while I was paying, which I took as just a pathetic attempt at getting a tip. I am a former nail technician so I have extremely high expectations when getting my nails done. I have tried several salons in Maple Ridge and City Nails, Vicki in particular, is the only place I will trust with my nails. I have since moved to Chilliwack but still travel back to Maple Ridge once a month to get Vicki to do my nails for me. She is the only one I trust and she always does an amazing job. I never have lifting when she does my nails, she is quick, efficient and very sweet. The prices are very reasonable and they use top quality products. Every Tuesday they have a discount on pedicures. Their massage chairs alone are well worth the $25 pedicure price just to sit, relax, be pampered and have a full back massage. Their pedicures are wonderful and well worth the price.I highly recommend going to see Vicki at City Nails. You won't be disappointed. Read Less
