The first time I went to Polished it was a one time thing to get my nails done before a trip, and I've been going back monthly for the last year and a half. The salon is beautiful, doesn't smell like over bearing nail polish, its clean and comfortable. All of the girls are professional and friendly, quick so you don't sit there for hours while also being so accurate and skilled with what they're doing for you. I would recommend Polished to literally anyone, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else for my nails, I've gone somewhere else once with a friend in the last 18 months and I'll never do that again! First time coming here just before leaving for my trip and I ended up with the best shellac pedi ever. They had a large selection of colours which was a plus. I wasn’t able to grab the name of the wonderful lady who did my pedi but she was awesome - and had an awesome conversation with her the whole time. There is absolutely no language barrier not even an accent. I came for a pedicure and was treated like a queen. She spent 1 hour and 20mins on my toes and even offered for me to sit and relax while my feet dry!! At no point did I feel rushed. I have never had such a precise pedicure! She took her time and focused on every little detail. The leg massage was so wonderful I walked out feeling like I needed a nap! As I went to pay she went over all she did and there was no little hidden costs. Its a spa treatment without the spa cost. It's the week before Christmas and I didn't think I would be able to get an appointment for both my mom and I, but the girls at Polished were able to get us in together within a couple days. I broke my leg in November and so I knew getting a pedi might be difficult. The massage chairs that most other places don't give me enough leg room and I wouldn't be able to stretch my leg out without putting pressure on it, which I can't have. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to hop up onto the bench that they have at Polished, but I did and I was way more comfortable sitting up there than in any massage chair at any other salon! Mary did my mani/pedi and I can't rave about her enough. This was the first time I've ever had a mani/pedi at a nail salon where I didn't feel rushed out of there. I've frequently left places and had my nails smudge from being rushed, but Mary took her time with me and did an immaculate job. I absolutely love my nails! I woke up to a voicemail from my regular nail tech in Abbotsford the other morning that she was snowed in and would be unable to make my appointment. With a big Christmas party the next day, I was scrambling to find a place that would be able to fit me in last minute with it being such a busy season. After googling different nail salons in Langley, I saw that Polished had the best reviews, so I gave them a call. I wasn't expecting them to be able to fit me in so quickly, b...ut they got me in right away. Mary did my nails and was so sweet and efficient. All the girls were very friendly and made you feel welcome. The space was very clean (which is huge for me). Their pricing is very reasonable as well! I was relieved to find a place in Langley that did gels (and gels only at that) as it seems like so many salons only do acrylics. I had asked for a matte top coat and didn't realize until I got home afterwards that it had been forgotten, but I really didn't care much because my nails still looked amazing. This is definitely one of the nicer nail salons I have ventured to in the area. The place is clean and modern. Service is fantastic and includes a beverage (tea, coffee or water). My nail technician was thorough from start to finish especially during the massage part. It was a full hour service and we were not rushed out the door after service was finished. I went in for a shellac manicure and a regular pedicure the day before my bachelorette. My nail tech was newer and she did make a few mistakes but what I appreciated was that she made sure to fix everything (and in a reasonable amount of time) and I was left with very beautiful nails! Loooove how clean, white, modern and new the atmosphere is in this salon. Great interior decor, and for me, it's important that everything looked clean and bright. There are 2 huge flat screen TV's for clients to enjoy watching while getting a manicure/pedicure.The ladies working there are very nice and welcoming, great customer service. PLUS they speak English to each other, no talking about you in another language! Haha!Only thing that concerns me is that my shellac nails didn't last for a whole week :( I got a French tip manicure shellac which costed an extra $10, but they didn't last until the end of the week!Will probably still go back but not for shellac!
