Raman did my combination brows (microbladed and powered brows) yesterday, and does a fantastic job. I never thought in a lifetime I could have nice brows with out makeup. Worst nail experience - the nail room is like a closet (small & stuffy), the nail technician was very unprofessional: didn't inform me she couldn't do what i asked for at the start, made no apology at the end, & spent the whole time gossiping about another client with the other nail technician. I've been going to Quin for years now and have to say I've never once been unsatisfied with any services. The nail techs are amazing in making sure every detail is perfect and nails are even and beautiful. I just went for my microblading touch up last week with Quin and have had many compliments on my brows. The room she uses is extremely clean, well lit and professional. Quin knows what shape of brow will work best with face shape and it shows with all of her work. Other places offering microblading may be cheaper but do yourself a favor and look at all their detailed work on clients. Went back to get my nails fixed twice. First time my nails fell off in two days. Second time she made all my nails different shades when they were initially pink with glitter. Some nails were silver all glitter and some didn't even have a sufficient amount. I then took another day off from work to get my nails fixed again because I had got them done for a wedding. They snipped off all my gems, told me to come 30 minutes earlier so I waited about 40 minutes until they could... find time to help me when there was only one costumer in the store . They left the glue on the nails from the gems that they took off and then told me I had to pay to get it done because that nail technician that messed up on me twice was not in. Very unprofessional place and probably the worst I've been too. Pedicures had no filing either, didn't even snip my toe nails evenly. Highly over priced. Horrible experience! Been trying to find a good place to go for nails and the last place I went to, some unhappy customers recommended amour so I thought I'd give it a try. Every time I called I would get their voicemail and had to leave a message to get a call back to make an appt. That should've been my first indication. I was getting a gel pedi, and the girl who did it was very cold and in-personable. One of the staff members son was there (getting yelled at a few times) as well as a dog. The ...place looked dirty, and at one point the dog peed on the floor. Some toilet paper was placed over it and left. I wasn't impressed with the minimal cuticle removal, filing/shaping that was done. This was also the first pedi I've ever had where they did zero foot filing. Two words: Sh**t Show.....They screwed up my nails and had to do them all over again because the tech used the wrong type of polish that didn't cure under the UV light because I have natural nails (which she knew) & the stuff she used was only meant for fake nails. The polish she used dripped all over my hands and she had to use that drill to get the red off my nails which she had already used earlier so I barely have any nail left cuz they drilled off my natural nails to completely nothing. Now they are so thin. She didn't even apologize. Their heads are in the clouds at that salon. No sense of awareness what so ever. Not mindful one bit. So I called here to book an appointment asking for a new set. I was not asked whether I wanted acrylic or gel. I was asked what was on my nails I replied gel as in shellac polish. When I got to the salon she got mad at me for having shellac on my nails as apparently I said I had nothing on my nails? "I only have an hour so give me your hand." She then proceeded to tell me she was going to use gel to fill my nails and I said oh sorry I wanted acrylic. She then starts to be very rude saying I said I wanted gel on my hands and she cannot do acrylic. I would have definitely remembered this as I would have just not booked the appointment or booked with someone who did do acrylic. She then gets the manager to come talk to me about ME not wanting gel as if this could convince me. Gel is much more expensive and I'm not wasting my time getting a gel set only to have to have it removed again next time cause I'm certainly not paying for gel fills the rest of the year. I say to the manager isn't there someone else who could do acrylic. She acts as if it is a preposterous question says they are all booked. You're a nail salon. It is not preposterous of me to ask if there's an employee who can do acrylic. I then get up with half shaved off shellac on my hands and leave and am not even said one word to. Not sorry not bye have a nice day or reschedule an appointment etc. This location was a block away from my work and could have had my business on going but the customer service was just plain rude from the moment I sat down.
