When I WeNte the first time I wanted Gel nails. The lady asked me to wait 5 minutes. After waiting 10 minutes she asked me 3 more times what I wanted. She clearly did not want to do gel nails. She grabbed the clear gel and what looked like a child’s paint brush from Walmart and proceeded to try to complete a new set. The gel was burning my hands inside the UV light but she kelp telling me to leave them inside the light. After shaping them into something like nails, she asked for my opinion. I looked down at my horribly shaped, long ovals and couldn’t stand to be there anymore. The start to finish was 2 hours.
After 1 week of ‘living with them’ but hating them, I went in to have them taken off. There was a lovely lady there who was just learning to do nails who could help me. She took 1 hour to take off half of them and then I had to leave to return to work. They charged me $60 for the full set (worst nails I’ve literally ever seen) and 15 for the removal (didn’t complete the job) and I will never ever return.

So thankful for the big change at Lush Nails. Opening a few years ago was a bit rocky but they're off and running now. Really clean environment, happy to customize, great service and friendly atmosphere. When you have an appointment, you are the priority! What a pleasant change :) So glad to have this business in Lake Country and back running efficiently. Way to go team Lush Nails!

Such a rip off! Went in to get my one nail fixed and asked if they could paint my daughters toenails while I was getting that done. They then said they would paint her fingernails too as their treat so I agreed. Get up to the till and they want almost $40 for that. Absolutely ridiculous price. I said the woman there said it was free for the nail paint and she came over and said no I never said that. So rude and unprofessional. To top it off. My 6 year old would do a better job at the nail painting 🙄 Will never go back. There was also old skin in the pedicure tub I was sitting at while waiting for my kids $30 polish job. I would not trust the cleanliness.

Almost did not visit because of the low ratings... But glad that I visited for myself rather than basing a judgement from facebook reviews. The lady who handled my pedicure was welcoming and friendly, and the same goes for the young man handling another person's pedi beside me. There was no electric dremel used on my nails (personal preference), which I was elated to see! The massage was great, hot towel was perfect for a chilly day, and the polish is clean and cute, as expected. Price was fair for pedi + gel polish.. I don't see where the negative reviews are coming from personally. 5/5 will be a returning customer. (Would like to add that I saw the foot basins being cleaned almost immediately after the other person had finished with their pedi.. I don't always see prompt cleanliness so that was a plus!)

This was a few weeks ago but I just remembered about it so I had to post something. A few weeks ago my daughter booked an appointment for me, I arrived on time but had to sit waiting in a chair for nearly 45 minutes before I got my pedicure. Funny enough, people who walked in after I went into the salon got their nails done before me. And believe me when I say it, I wasn't the only one who was waiting. The lady who works there right now keeps on taking people who walk in first which is crazy, what is the point of booking an appointment?

I decided to take a chance and go while I was on vacation. It took forever and the nails were thin. I was "nicked" with the machine a number of times. Then I was overcharged for gel when it wasn't actually applied on my nails and the lady just kept shoving the pamphlet in my face telling me how much it was as I told her the gentleman didn't apply it. Paid $55 for a "fill" which is ridiculous and then 3 nails broke within 3 days. Worst place I've ever gone. Definitely find somewhere else.

First time here. Not that great. Too many clients not enough staff. Water in tub was cold. Sat for 30 minutes soaking. Question if some of the utensil were properly cleaned. Pumice scrubbers looked used. Saw them re use toe separateness on two clients Mine were new. Towels used mismatched and grey. They had me walk across the floor in my bare feet. Yuck !Then put a little fan on my feet not the usual drying fan. Chairs are nice. Leg massage good nail cutting good Probably go to another place next time. Even tho it's cheaper

( no tip!) (EDIT) It is only one week later and the gel is totally chipping off. I think that the polish is actually much cheaper ( not like any gel I've had before!) will be going back tomorrow?????

I've gotten a foot fungus 3 times now ( finally tracked down where I was getting it, sounds like I'm not the only one ). their new staff is inexperienced and untrained and old staff rush you through. I had the new lady doing my pedicure cut me twice, and put callus remover on sensitive skin that wasn't callus at all at the beginning of my pedicure, and only took it of when I complained it was burning me. They switched me people and finished
I will NEVER be going back. Do not go here

Worst place in the entire okanagan Valley. Unfortunately people are so spur of the moment they feel the need to go to these chop shops, pay waaaaay more than what it's worth. If a health inspector would come in they would be shut down IMMEDIATELY! Why not book an appt with a certified licensed and perhaps experienced nail tech/Esthetician. You may have to wait a day...but this is frigging insane. Stop supporting this crap! ! Please!!!!!!

I decided to take a chance and go to get my nails done on a Saturday with the new owners, my mom advised me not to from her own experiences but I wanted to give it a chance. I go in with a simple picture of a design (flowers on one nail) as I saw on their Facebook photos nail designs with flowers! I showed the nail tech the picture and they started applying gel nails, come the colour and design part they inform me they don't know how to do flowers. I understood so I worked around it. Compared to the old owners, in this same situation they would switch people to do the design I wanted, instead the new owners put me in a position to not get what I initially wanted. I will still go back as it is close by.

I wanted the dark charcoal glitter on my pedi she wanted to put a dark coat underneath which I was fine with but there wasn't enough glitter after and I specifically asked for a design when I called but apparently she will only do it if you don't get glitter I don't like when people tell me what I should like for my nails she also did not cover the entire nail bed. I'm going to have to get another pedi done as soon as I go home from my trip. Was waste of money won't be going again. My friend also had a stamp card full but she wouldn't take it even though the nail salon still has the same name and even phone number. My nails aren't even cut straight and the other owed was on for 2 seconds and no stone message. Compared to my salon where I pay less and get designs the hot stones and perfectly painted nails. It was a major disappointment.

When I WeNte the first time I wanted Gel nails. The lady asked me to wait 5 minutes. After waiting 10 minutes she asked me 3 more times what I wanted. She clearly did not want to do gel nails. She grabbed the clear gel and what looked like a child’s paint brush from Walmart and proceeded to try to complete a new set. The gel was burning my hands inside the UV light but she kelp telling me to leave them inside the light. After shaping them into something like nails, she asked for my opinion. Such a rip off! Went in to get my one nail fixed and asked if they could paint my daughters toenails while I was getting that done. They then said they would paint her fingernails too as their treat so I agreed. Get up to the till and they want almost $40 for that. Absolutely ridiculous price. This was a few weeks ago but I just remembered about it so I had to post something. A few weeks ago my daughter booked an appointment for me, I arrived on time but had to sit waiting in a chair for nearly 45 minutes before I got my pedicure. I decided to take a chance and go while I was on vacation. It took forever and the nails were thin. I was "nicked" with the machine a number of times. Then I was overcharged for gel when it wasn't actually applied on my nails and the lady just kept shoving the pamphlet in my face telling me how much it was as I told her the gentleman didn't apply it. Worst place in the entire okanagan Valley. Unfortunately people are so spur of the moment they feel the need to go to these chop shops, pay waaaaay more than what it's worth. If a health inspector would come in they would be shut down IMMEDIATELY! Why not book an appt with a certified licensed and perhaps experienced nail tech/Esthetician.
