0 star rating. I made an appt to have my gel nails removed and the technician aggressively proceeded to pry them off with the tip of an artificial nail! It hurt so bad and she damaged the thumb nail which started bleeding. She was in such a hurry at my nails expense. They are ruined. I refused her to remove the other hand and then she proceeded to put hydrogen peroxide on my ruined thumb nail. Will never ever go back! Read Less

First appointment for pedicure was great then went back to have my gel nails removed and the tech was extremely rough, ripping up the nails with an artificial acrylic nailI was shocked and it hurt so much! Hands down best pedicures in Kelowna. CLEAN. New files, new pedicure blocks, and all implements come in steralizer bag. I have been to almost every pedicure place in Kelowna and this place is by far the best. Ask for Tina she is who did mine and was amazing! She also gives a nice long foot massage, hot stone massage, and then hot towel wrap and massage! Excellent! I will continue to go here simply because I felt like they were very clean. Read Less

The guy who did my toe nails was amazing! I went in for a mani pedi but the pedi was certainly the best part. The nails where a little rushed,less time for massage ad the other girl sitting next to me got, but the final result was flawless and beautiful. They where very professional the entire time and very reasonably priced. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there and will be back again. Read Less

Not impressed, first of all when my nails were done a couple weeks ago they started chipping within a day, so may go back and give them another try. But my daughter wanted to have her nails filled and called and made an appointment for 5pm, she waited until 5:30pm before they even took her in. Why make an appointment if they cant accommodate you at that time, meanwhile my husband is waiting outside, not impressed. Read Less

I went to sunny nails last year for my prom nails, and just never left a review because I didn't know they had a fb page. Absolutely terrible. I asked for stiletto style nails, and picked two colours they had there as examples. My nails were a completely different colour/opaqueness then the sample so it didn't match my prom dress. She completely ignored my request for stiletto style nails and basically gave me upside down triangle nails. They were Thick af and not in a good way. My best friend asked for stiletto from a different employee and her nails turned out perfectly! It was a huge piss off considering we paid the same amount and my nail lady did a half ass job. I had an appointment for 12 today and had to wait until 12:25 to be seated, meanwhile walk ins were getting seated prior to me. The pedicure itself was good but right before it was time for polish, I was asked to move to a different seat. Stood up and walked bare feet to another pedicure bowl to finish the 5 minutes it takes to put on shellac polish. Customer service is definitely lacking and I will not be back. Read Less

They are amazing!! I'm really picky with my shellac nails cause I always get black, she did the extra layer without me asking! The new girl Lee (I think that was her name), was so gentle when taking my old shellac off, very skilled and very particular! I highly recommend to anyone. Everyone was very friendly!! I had never been to Sunny Nails before and went specifically because they do BioSculpture Gel. First off, I was taken aback by how cluttered, messy, and unclean the studio is. Next, I specifically asked for BioSculoture when booking and at the appointment, but made the mistake (I guess) of saying I'd never had it before. The product she used stunk and every time my hand went under the lights my nail beds hurt unbearably bad. The finished product was much much thicker than I'd anticipated. Fast forward to today, I went to a high-end salon that does BioSculpture Gel and she told me that she's 100% sure the product on my nails was acrylic that they had passed off as Biosculpture (acrylic is far cheaper than BioSculpture). My new 'real' Bio Sculpture manicure did NOT hurt under the lights and is much thinner and nicer. Beware!! Read Less

Horrible results! I have had two pedicures there - both times the paint chipped off within in a week (I think they use a cheap base coat or something). I have been there twice for shellac manicures (in hopes that it is better than the pedicures). The last time I went in, the guy shaved down my nail base so much it hurt. And the shellac paint is bubbled in places and only in the middle (the paint does not go to the sides of my nails). I live in the neighbourhood but going somewhere else is worth the drive. And don't bother making an appointment - apparently it means nothing so be prepared to wait. Read Less

Just had my first and last pedi there yesterday.. The girl could not speak any English at all, and the water was so hot it burned my feet. Sorry, this place wont get a second chance with me. Worst set of nails I have ever had. I requested pink and white gels and got the thickest chicklet looking nails. They drew on the white and in the sunlight and regular light even it looks sloppy and messy. I returned minutes later to show them and request a fix. They went on to complain that I was picky (my fiancé even commented that they were the worst). I will now avoid this place. I asked for the easiest set of nails and paid full price and got a set that looks like a beginner at beauty school did them. Awful product. Read Less
