I have been going to this place off and on for years. My boyfriend bought my daughter and I gift certificates for a manicure and pedicure. They mistakenly gave her shellac nail colour and charged her 40$ on top of the 45 $ that the gift certificates cost. When I called to ask why, the owner was rude and yelling into the phone. Not the cleanest, Didint see anything being sanitized or being separated with the clean instruments. Nails is super thick , some are cricket, nail polish looks like it's been put on my toddler. I could of done a better job of putting on the nail polish at home. Have sharp pieces of acrylic behind my nail , asked her to clean it out she tried to pick at it with her nail ...😑, talked in their language the whole time, ignoring us. I had a few hours I needed to kill so I googled nearby nail salons and found this one. I didn't have an appointment but they gave me a spot half an hour after I walked in and it was a really nice atmosphere. You could tell everyone was a regular but I was never made to feel excluded. I got a french manicure gel polish done and its been two days and my nails still catch my eye. Absolutely beautiful, lines are near perfect and it just looks so glossy and professional. Not your average nail salon. The girls are friendly and you are treated like family when you walk in the door. Hannah is the owner and she makes sure everything is always done right and wants everyone to leave happy. If I have a break or a chip, she is always willing to fix it immediately. I love this place! Terrible! Terrible! Terrible experience! I will never enter this unwelcoming place again! Rude and Unprofessional people. She looked like that she was so annoyed by my presence . I asked a simple question at the very beginning about the nail colors and what suits me better? she leaned back on the chair and acted so frustrated and instead answering my question she started to speak to other staff in her own language and her sound was like I'm wasting her time and she's so mad at me. Hanna did a horrible job on my nail. My nails are not all the same length, a bunch of them are crooked, and some corners are square, while some are way too rounded. PLUS they are SUPER thick, and she left a bunch of acrylic gunk under a few nails and the gel polish she put on was done really sloppily. Plus the glitter on top is uneven, so some nails have a lot of glitter and others have nearly none. My ring finger nail is completely crooked and pointing towards my middle finger. I need to go somewhere else today and pay a chunk of money $$$ again to fix my nails. I wish I could share the picture of nails here for you guys it looks so ugly! Read Less

Went to  Coral nails after some BAD experiences at L'Amour nail salon on Austin ,unfortunately  they are not on yelp I wonder why hahaha... horrible RUDE  place and on  top of that the owner  DIANE  is so phony and discriminating  ..She did not do my nails correctly , used CHEAP acrylic powder which ruined my nails and over charged me  on some  visits ....   So Happy I found this salon  , very  refreshing, saved my damaged nails  and Macy introduced me to solar nails ..My nails feel great  and are wonderful  .. Terrible. I got ripped off. I phoned and asked how much it costs to do my nail and they said $50 so I booked an appointment and went. They charged me $80. I asked why and they said for $50 they use pink powder that has been causing itchy fingers so they used better quality on me. First of it was true they should have told me upfront and second they didn't honour their price over the phone. It's close to my work but will never go there again. I feel ripped off. Read Less

I went here just today to get a refill. The moment I came in, They looked like they were annoyed by my presence, was rude towards me (however, they talk really nicely to the white clients). I was asking a few questions and they seemed to be annoyed that I was asking (especially the manager/owner)Apparently, you have to have the nails intact in order for it to be considered “refill”. I did not know that as this was just my second time there. They promised me last time that it will only cost me $37. I was willing to bite the bullet because I wanted it for the holidays. The lady that was doing my nails was yanking my fingers but I was shaking it off, although when she said it would be $60, I said oh, I though it was $45? and then the manager/owner started to cut me off saying rudely It’s up to you, $60,55,45! Like I was bothering her. I broke down and cried at that point because I have felt it the moment I entered that vicinity. I WAS A MINORITY. Every client in that room was white. The worst part is, the white clients were butting in that “I have been here for years and they have never been rude towards me!”. First off, mind your own business (the manager was asking for sympathy from them). Second of all, the customer is always right. I WAS IN TEARS. She kept yelling at me. One of the clients right next to me every said, at least empathize. You should say sorry. When your client is consoling your other client and you keep arguing, THERE IS A HUGE PROBLEM.The worst part is, she made me pay $10 for the acrylic that was not finished at all. And by the way, she made me feel like I don’t have money the way she was talking to me. It’s the principle. I even said I will pay anything just to be away from this place! If you are not aware, there is a discrimination that happens in the Asian community, when you are darker skinned, they treat you like crap--exactly how I was treated today because of my skin colour.To white people who likes butting in in situations like this, You are not a minority, you will never be a minority, and you will never understand how discrimination, prejudice and racism EVER. I went in October to have eyebrows tattooed .. terrible experience . I had my right eye no tattoo ink ( looked like a scar above my eye) . My left eye was as if a pencil line was made. This is all after ink dried and peels. I returned to speak to the manager. She was rude in front of customers. I asked her to come into the room the tattooing happens. 4x she stated " I told you you need to come back in 90 days for a touch up" this is not a touch up . My brows did not match or come close to the drawing we agreed to. She was rude and disrespectful not even looking at my eyebrows. I will never enter this establishment again for manicures or pedicures. The buck stops here. I had to go and repay for the tattooing with a reputable company and Esthician. Read Less

Slightly disappointed that after coming for a few years with my Mom & we always got our toes done,  brought my sister from Ontario, & once a friend of my Mom's. At Christmas Hanna did gels for the first time & then again the second time. They were awesome! Then I let the gels grow put & one fell off so not knowingly I peeled the rest off & my real nails were ruined. So Mom & I went for Pedi's & I had a manicure as I'm going away - the salon never told me that the nail polish wouldn't last & by the time I got home was already chipping & by the next day half the nail polish was gone. I phoned the salon & they said I could come in & they would re-do the nail polish at no charge. But before I went to the appointment I talked to other ladies & they thought the nail polish would chip all over again & suggested to call Hanna ,& since I was going away get the gels done one last time & see if she would discount the gels by some or part of what I paid for the manicure. Hanna said no & once I got there later that day she agreed to discount a whole $5.00 only because I said she would lose me as a customer, otherwise she would not have discounted anything I got the gels done & they look amazing but sadly I will NOT return due to the attitude towards a discount.  I would not have wasted my time getting a manicure to last only until I got home, did I mention I always tip too. So I wanted to get my nails done before going on vacation and I phoned them last minute to see if they could do it (6:45 pm). The nice lady on the phone said yes so I did and realized that they close as 7 pm!! They stayed open just for me. One lady did the manicure while the other the pedicure. Pretty toe toes. I often go to Coral Nail for a pedicure as it is so close to home and they do a reasonably good job for a good price.  I got a manicure and a pedicure done yesterday for $37.  Can't go wrong with a little bit of pampering on a lazy Saturday afternoon.Downside if it is summer and they are busy you will have to wait even if you made an appointment.  Often they will take walk ins even if they are already booked up with appointments.
