Unfortunately the manager/front desk girl have terrible customer service and is very rude to her customers. Please don't complain about me to your clients when your right behind me! Bello's Nail is the best nail salon I have ever been to! I have been to many nail salons in the past couple years and nothing compares to this salon. Everyone there is very talented and I always walk out happy with my beautiful nails. Service: Their service is amazing! Everyone there is friendly and polite. They are all very helpful and can help you if you pick out designs if you have no idea what you want to get done. I have personally tried all the nail techs and they all do an outstanding job. They also take walk-ins but I recommend booking an appointment to guarantee a time and spot. Quality: All I can say is amazing quality for a great price! My nails always last so long and all the crystals are still intact until my next fill. They have a wide selection of colours and they stock up on new colours as well (its already hard enough to choose when they have so many). They have so many different crystals, beads, glitters, etc. and they even do 3d nail designs! Cleanliness: From what I can see, they are always keeping the salon very clean. They sanitize all the equipment used after each client. They rinse down the jetted foot bath machines with soap. They wash all the towels and sweep the store often. My first appointment at Bello's was amazing. Initially I had booked for a shellac removal and wanted to get another set put on, but after I showed one of the nail techs a picture from their Instagram account they recommended that I get a set where they put on "fake" tips. I get frustrated when I get my nails done (shellac) and it chips a week or two later. I am currently rocking 4 week old shellac; Yeah, they are grown out and gross... but the shellac has not chipped.The downside is it's a busy place, so you almost always need an appointment. Horrible. The lady who took my acrylic nails off sliced my actual nail and it bled a lot. Also when they sand down the acrylic nail they don't even care if it burns they just keep going. Literally had to pull my hand away multiple times because of the heat. I also had to pay for the shellac application which was $20. I decided to go to bellos nail on a whim. my usual nail techician couldn't take me in short notice, I had read multiple good reviews about them, so I gave them a call. they were able to accomodate me with a day's notice, which i liked. I got there and was immediately struck by the burning smell of acrylic and gel. i sat down with tammy, which after my appointment i whought was a pretty ok nail tech ( exceptions being filing down my real nails with the drill, which is a BIG no... in my book, putting too much glue on the tips, so much that it spilled over onto my skin and had the nails stuck to my skin for the better part of a week). i mean she was fast, pleasant to talk to, and the shape i was really happy with. but boy oh boy is that salon DIRTY. when you raise your eyes from your own nails to take a look around, the whole salon is FILLED with nail dust. and i mean FILLED. it's everywhere. and it did not look like the dust was just accumulated there over one day. they probably don't clean there, EVER. the walls were dirty as well. when i looked down at the towel my hands were on, it had hot pink nail filing from the person before. they don't bother to change it in between appointments. the actual nail file she used looked like it had been used on another 100 people before me and that to me is just unsanitary. anyways, i got my nails done short notice for the event i needed them for and walked out. now, two and a half weeks later, my nails are in pain. due to the amount of glue that she used, my nails didn't have enough room to grow, so they started cracking underneath, right across my nail bed. now i have had acrylics on plenty of times and i have never had this happen to me before. needless to say i will never be going back here again. I've never felt so rushed while getting my nails done. It was not relaxing at all! On top of that, I realized I didn't like the style of having one nail a different colour from the rest. When I asked her to change it she just pretended she didn't understand. I also noticed that she didn't paint all the way to the end of my nails bed and I had to get another girl to fix it. Very rude staff. They rush their customers, and do not listen to what they want done. Even with having an appointment they do no take u at the scheduled time they always make you wait. However when your turn does come then they start rushing to finish so they can take the next person. I used to love going here, loved the staff. However this past few months their customer service has changed a lot as their business is growing. The owner is very mean, rude and does not care about the customers. Also when you book an appointment with of the technicians, when you do go to get your nails done you do not always get who you asked for. Once their good nail tech left the salon to open up her own. Jenny was very nice offered discounts, was always humble, and kind when their nail tech left. The first time I came here I walked in and they were happy to accommodate me without an appointment even though they were very busy. I have since come back many times for acrylic nails. This salon is amazing! I have tried many other nail places and no matter where I went the colour on my nails would always peel off within a week or 2 but I'm so glad I found bello's nail. I live all the way in Burnaby but I'm happy to drive the 30 minutes to get my nails done here, I refuse to go anywhere else. Horrible. Girl who did my pedi first cut my big toe very crooked. Then when I pointed out how crooked it was she proceeded to cut it even shorter to the point where it dug into me. The only other Salons that compare are the few Top salons downtown, there are literally NOOO other salons in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge etc....that can even come close to the class A+ work that All of the techs do at Bellos but especially Linda! A few years ago I had a pedicure at Bellos...while efoiliating my soles accidently sliced off the mid section of my toe and nail...no appology...had a few techs trying to stop the bleeding..blood spurting everywhere..tech then put clear polish over the bleed...very painful...no apology ever...On Friday I decided to try again for the special occasion of my son's Wedding Sat...Arrived asked for a pedicure, brought to chair...no problem..1 1/2 hrs later, with a few different te...chs doing a nail here and there, said I could go now...tech puts my flip flops on, rubbed a nail...redid it...I have been observing other clients having their nails dried and then massaged and creamed after...no I was told I could leave when it was dried...waited to be told....hours later I put my shoes on...nothing was rubbed off..just all rough and distorted, no shine...great for the Wedding...came in Monday to show what. Best nail salon I have ever visited! I travel 40 minutes just to come here, so worth it. Linda is who I see she is super sweet and it's not like other salons where they can sometimes disagree with what you'd like. Linda is always capable of doing what I ask for and it always comes out better than the picture I show her. She takes her time and the entire staff is super friendly and it's the cleanest nail salon I've ever been to and I've visited countless salons in the lower mainland.. I made a last minute appointment here. I was happy that there was an availability because I was dying for a basic pedicure. The shop was busy so I assumed the nail techs are good and professional. The lady worked on my toes was pretty average until she started to scrub the bottom of my foot. She was scrubbing me as if I'm a bathtub that needs to be cleaned. Very rough and obviously she knew cuz I reacted and backed in my feet. When I looked down, the side of my foot bled! I remained calm and pointed it out to her. She acted normal and tapped the blood off with her hand (she had gloves on). She didn't even apologize. Also she didn't apply any disinfectant or those blood stopper drops on it! I should've said something but I was very shocked. The scab on my feet took 2 months to come off. I was scared that I might've contracted something. Horrific!!!!!!!!!This place is going down hill. Emily is an bad Esthetician -stay away. I don't think she's certified.  I had the exact same experience as another client below! I pointed out that my nails are uneven and this staff flipped out and started swearing in the salon, yelling, screaming.  She spoke English but just doesn't know what she's doing. Another esthetician had to complete this crappy work but the damage was already done.  The other staff told me, Emily gets many complaints.  i just had to leave this place. worst experience!  Poor service,aggressive, rough, rude employee.  The owner doesn't seem to care about the service she provides and the service her staff provides.  so many other nail salons around, don't waste your time, money and peace of mind with this place. I took my mom to this place since the place I always go was over booked .. The staff are so rude. I told the girl that my nail color was not even and that she missed painting the sides of my nails .. She starts taking nag to the others girl about me in another language and then the lady that worked there came up and said "it's the way that the color is applied " what ???? So I said just fix it and the lady just put another code .. It looked like crap .. I've been stuck near Port Moody and have began visiting this salon. Always a pedicure as I can't reach my toes. Nothing more, nothing fancy. Something cool to note though is they always got this tool that buffs up my nails making them glossy shiny. Even though my toes are mostly covered it's nice of them to pretty up those uly toes. Over the last couple years I have probably visited this place at least 20 times.  The ladies that do my nails don't speak a whole lot of English but they do an excellent job.  I always get a little extra massage which I love.  I usually only get pedicures and am pretty happy with the results.  Sometimes I get a little nail design which is pretty cute.The lady that answers the phone can speak & understand English perfectly and makes booking appointments easy.
