I went here because it was close to home. I will never go again. This was the worst pedicure I have ever had. He rushed through the whole thing and did a terrible job. The owner is loud and rude and wouldn't let my husband sit next to me in a pedi chair because he wasn't getting a pedi. There are 5 chairs open and no one waiting a little ridiculous. He had to sit near the door and wait. I felt so bad for bringing him along. I am a trained nail technician and I know what I am talking about. This place does horrible pedicures. Do not waste your time. The tools are not clean. I got a full set of “gel” yesterday that was made of powder (which was probably acrylic), they look 2 weeks old I have hang nails all over. The nails are inconsistently shaped and coloured. They rush you out and there is no way that any of them are certified with the poor work they do. Phoned and complained and got yelled at. Only nail place I go to after trying many in town. Always super welcoming it's like my second home. They put time and effort into perfecting their work. I'm always happy with my nails. They even called in my specific nail guy to come in just to fix ONE of my nails. I'd say that's some over the top customer service. Read Less

By far the worst nail salon I have been to. The female owner is loud and unprofessional. She does not take her time and she will scold you LOULDY in front of other customers. She also loudly argues in her own language with other coworkers. So completely unprofessional!! DO NOT GO HERE. Read Less

So I was given a $50 gift certificate for my birthday, and actually forgot about it, because I never get my nails done. The individual that gave me that gift asked me about it recently, so of course I panicked because it was from last year. I have been quite ill lately and called Nice One Nails and explained, said I've been ill also, and would they honor it just till Friday when I could come in. The tone and answer I received was rude, cold and unprofessional! I realize I only had 2 days left on it before expiry but I was to sick to go in. And most businesses do go an extra mile to keep a customer, especially a new one!!! So yeah, will not be recommended by me at all to anyone!! Read Less

I got a full set of acrylic nails today, they are super thick, not filed properly, uneven, and the polish is poorly done and all over my cuticles. They reuse all of their tools (it's mandatory by law every customer get a new file and buffer). Gross. Not impressed at all UPDATE: I made an appointment for the following day with another technician, to have my nails repaired. I explained that I had just been in and I wanted them redone because they were not done properly. When ...I went in I was told to wait for the same technician (also the owner), I said no I would like to see someone new. He had just started on another customer which means I would've had to wait for her entire appointment, even though I had a scheduled appointment. The owner then told me if I wanted them fixed I had to "pay money". I said pay for what? I just had these done yesterday and paid $60. She then corrected me saying it was 50+ tax, I also tipped which made it nearly $60. I also asked if we could have more of a private conversation rather than being yelled at from across the other side of the salon. The other technician then took a look, and said I just need a touchups. I said no I want them completely redone, they are way too thick and the polish is done terribly. Again the owner told me I needed to pay, I got frustrated and said you should probably talk to your customers with a little bit more respect. This is the most unprofessional and rude establishment I have ever been to. I paid a lot of money to get my nails done and it looks like a child did them. Do not go here unless you want to look like a Pinterest fail. It's not clean, they use the same dirty nail file for everyone. I recently had a shellac pedicure here. Overall, I was not pleased with the treatment. The nail polish was applied very sloppy and on the cuticle. The soles of my feet still had rough patches afterwards. The technician broke one of my toe nails. I asked her to try and fix it or glue it on. The shellac on that nail fell off a day later. I get pedicures every couple of months, and I would not go back here. The only good thing was that they used the disposable liners in tubs for your feet. Read Less

UPDATE:Unfortunately will not be back. First time i was pretty satisfied with my pedicure, the lady had offered to fix up my finger nails free of charge, which was super nice of her....but i believe i got a nail fungus from them! So gross....tried to put it past me when a friend wanted to go for a pedicure...went there & the lady did such a rush, horrible job! My feet are still scratchy/callusy, she didnt massage my feet or legs at all/did a quick job with the rocks, the nail polish is already chipping not even a week after getting them done, the glitter is uneven and not dispersed properly....and the lady rushed out before my friends nails were even done! And then to top it off they didnt accept my stamp card as "the owners changed" ....would have been nice to have been told this BEFORE getting my nails done. Definitely will not be returning & will gladly spend the extra $5-10 to goto Gente Bella. (ORIGINAL REVIEW) First time here and very pleased with the outcome! Usually dont venture far from my usual salon, but it was booked full and was in need of a pedicure! I saw a review for this salon on yelp so I called. I was looking for a pedicure and noticed online that there is a 40% off birthday special at the salon. Since everything is always closed on December 26, which is my birthday, I called on Monday, the 28th, and asked if I could still get the special. I was assured that I could and booked for the next day, which was my day off work. I drove half an hour into town, specifically for this appointment, to the salon and walked in. The lady that seemed to be the manager came up to me and said that no, I cannot get the special because I need to come in on the actual day of my birthday. I told her what I was told on the phone and she said yes, it was her that I spoke to. She says again that I have to come in on the day of my birthday. We went back-and-forth about the fact that nothing is open on December 26th and she refused to budge. So, just on the principle of the matter, I walked out very, very unhappy, needless to say. I was crushed! I had been looking forward to this treat! I have no respect for a business that will hide behind technicalities like this. So unfortunately, I cannot recommend this shop. Read Less
