Horribly overpriced and very rude service I know for a fact they were talking bad about my sister and I. Had to ask 3 times for them to add another coat of polish as I got a light colour and it looked blotchy. Everytime I asked I was responded to very rudely and eyes were rolling. Paid $84 for two shellac manicures. Needless to say I will never go back. My sister wanted gems on her ring fingers and they wanted to charge $10 per nail..absolutely ridiculous and disappointing. Came here as it looked pretty based on Yelp pics for a nail date. Place is clean inside with nice decor.It is Korean run and lots of workers helping.Pedicure was cheap. It's not in the massage chair tubs but rather a basic tub while you sit on a couch and watch a movie. They have an extensive nail polish collection both Shellac and non.They paid close attention to cleaning the nails and equipment was in sterile packaging.There is a stamp card to collect but mani and pedi are separate.They offered tea at the end which would be nice if they do it in the beginning.Place would be great for parties. My sister and I had a nail date and chose this place because of the reviews. The couches are nice but a bit worn and stained from nail polish. Otherwise, the nail salon is very clean, modern and relaxing. I wish there were massage chairs and coffee or tea served and it would have been perfect. However, the couch set up allowed for me to get a pedicure and my sister to get a shellac manicure at the same time while we were sitting next to each other. It was nice we were able to chat amongst ourselves. The staff are Korean and spoke in Korean to each other. Otherwise, they were mostly quiet and working on our nails during the service which was nice. We were seated right in front of the TV and could watch a movie at the same time.Nail instruments looked like they were sanitized and  other supplies (ie nail files, toe separator) came out of new packaging. The place seems to be take care to not spread infection or reuse items communally. Also, there was a nail dryer to make sure my pedicure dried thoroughly which I liked.There is a stamp card loyalty program if you frequent this location. Prices are a bit higher. However, it might be worth the little bit of extra cost to know that clean supplies are being used. The pedicure was $34 and shellac French manicure was $50. Read Less

They always do a good quality job and I trust their hygienic practices. I love the comfy couches, but I do miss the massage chairs and jet spa foot bath that other pedicure places have. This is by far the best nail lounge I have ever experienced.  There are a lot of places I have been that have done poor to satisfactory jobs, but this place tops it all.  We were preparing for my brother's wedding and I wanted to make sure my mom had the pampering she deserved on this very special day. They had many options and we were able to choose with ease.  My mom is a very indecisive person and because she rarely gets pampered, she tends to change her mind all the time.  The owner and others were very flexible and open to help her out and when they had started painting her nails, and she decided she was not happy with the gel colour, they complied and changed the colour to one my mom would be happier with.  I felt they went above and beyond because it truly made my mom happy.  Not only were they friendly, they also did a great job with the nails.  There were no nail polish on my hands like many places I have been to, they really took their time and made sure it was great.  The owner also told me that if there were any chips or anything in the next few days, that I can come back free of charge and they'll fix it up.  I truly appreciated that professionalism and care from the owner. Have been here three times. I have given them a couple of chances as the first pedi was fine. 1st pedicure was great so I went back again and added a service. 2nd Pedicure was okay and the eyebrow shaping was not good... clearly uneven and I didn't get charged for the brow shaping.  3rd and final visit was leg and bikini wax.  Slowest and worst bikini wax I have ever had and will not be back. I complained at the time and left unsatisfied.  The quality of service depends on who you get. Do not go here no matter how attractive the pricing and photos appear. The ladies do not speak very good English and it is very difficult to understand them or make sure they understand what you need in a service.  Remove the face mask when speaking to customers--it's rude! I love this nail lounge! Decided to try it out cuz it is super close to my apt and glad I did. It's a korean-run place, really cute and clean white decor, tons of parking out front and around the corner. They always seem so busy, with the girls answering the phone, greeting walk in guests, and trying to handle the customers. Sometimes it's amusing just watching them do it all and rotating through their job duties.I got suckered into doing their Mani-pedi combo since it's summertime. I get the gel Mani and regular polish cuz I'm rough on my hands :) I have to say, I really like that they have a large collection of both the gel and regular nail polish! They are also very hygienic, using new nail cutters and other implements and having the pedicure foot soak in a basin with a disposable plastic cover. The nail techs always do such a fabulous job and make my nails look so wonderful... The polish lasts forever (like 4 weeks last time... I only got it removed cuz my nails were growing out). Anyways, can you tell I'm a fan? :)The only thing I would change is that they need a better ventilation system. Sometimes the fumes get to be a bit much. Read Less

Walked by one day, noticed how busy this nail salon was,  gave it a try as I am very particular.  Great experience, this salon is one of the very very few  ( used to sell OPI nails 30 yrs ago when we were the only beauty supply in BC, maybe Canada) I can confirm with certainty that this salon brings out a new package of utensils  (nail cutters, orange wood cuticle stick, mini square buffer ) that to me is very hygienic.  No contamination of other people's germs which I was impressed with.  Clean and fair prices for a regular pedicure without shellac /gel polish.  They use the flat cheese grater looking paddles instead of using the blades.  Only con to this salon is there is  no massage chair, and water temperature cools off.  The Soaker is lined which is also a hygiene factor.  Maybe a suggestion,  offer drinking water during the summer weather would be  appreciated. Regular manicure pedicure combo. I did shellac for my hands and regular polish for my feet. It costed me $68! That's more expensive than the downtown salons I usually go to with massage chairs. After my manicure they dried out my fingers and only put lotion on my palms, neglecting the fingers. The services are decent but I'm not sure if the prices were worth it. Read Less

Greeting was unprofessional and overall service was quiet with minimal talking. Only time i was spoken to was to ask questions about what color i wanted etc. Good color selection, clean interior, and good application of polish. A friend recommended this place so I decided to give it a try given other positive reviews on yelp as well. I have given it 4 starts instead of 5 due to my view of a 5 being an exceptional experience by both service and surroundings. This salon looks nice and bright, but it's not set up in your typical nail salon way. The mani station is a kitchen bar-like table with dinning chairs and the pedi stations are couches. Even though there are no massage chairs it was comfortable to sit and there are pillows if you need back support where you sit. The service was pleasant and they have one big TV screen which today played the movie "the break up". Good enough to pass the time. I went there to take off my two week old gels and just put on regular nail polish. Prices are reasonable. I paid $24 for my regular mani + $10 to remove my gels + tip.  When I got there the tools that were used on me were from a packaged baggy so cleanliness seems to be something they care about. The girl that did my mani didn't wear gloves or a mask which I though was strange because I would expect everyone to be more aware of the harmful fumes they breath in all day long and the nail dust that came from my gel nail filling. In any case, I will definitely come back to get my nails done there gain. When I was paying the girls said that I should definitely come back if I have a chip or would like change of colour which I thought was thoughtful. Read Less

I come here every two weeks for shellac manicures! My nails have only chipped once and they have a chip guarantee so I was able to go back and get the nail fixed no problem! They spend a good hour on my nails every time so I'm not surprised my nails have only chipped once! I used to frequent another salon down the street that was cheaper but my nails would constantly chip and I'd be in and out of there in half an hour!I love how Vivid salon is bright and airy and always play the best movies! My only reason for not giving 5 stars is I wish they had the massage chairs for pedicures like other nail salons. If they added that feature this place would be absolutely perfect!! Read Less

Read that the reviews say it was really good and went. Totally lived up to my expectations. Friendly service, quiet environment, total attention from staff and movie on. I'm not a fan of girly movies or romance movies but the movie sucked me right in and I really enjoyed my time there.$35 pedicure that was good in an awesome environment.
