Let me make it clear first, Shi Nail Blue is a nice nail salon and I have enjoyed many good services there in the past, but this afternoon, a Japanese manicurist called MIKI, gave me the worse service ever! From the moment I sat down, MIKI started giving me this poker face, but I didn't take offence at it. The first time I felt unpleasant was when I asked her if there was something in my nail polish because I could see it and it looked like a dust particle to me. She took a quick look and relied "it's your blood". I was a little surprised because I didn't injure my finger or anything so it shouldn't be a bruise. The receptionist noticed and came to ask me if I would like to remove the polish and see. I wasn't really going to redo that nail since it was almost done., but MIKI was really impatient at the side and she kept saying it was my blood for sure and I was being unreasonable. I was already unhappy at that time but I just wanted to get the nails done so I just asked her to continue. Then, it came to the real unbelievable part of my experience. Since it was the first time I tried French style , I had no idea it would hurt quite much while drying the polish under the UV light. So when I felt the burn I instinctively took my hand out and ouched, guess what MIKI said. "Put it back". Right, instead of asking me if I was ok or explaining the burn was normal, She roughly ordered me to put my hand back and take the pain. The receptionist came again to ask me if everything was ok, guess what MIKI said then, "She was freaking out". I was already outraged at her attitude but I didn't say anything. Then with the receptionist watching, she finally started explaining the burn, in a "not my bad, you should have known it" manner. I was so angry so I said to her "Stop talking to me". Then guess what MIKI said, she gave me the F word, and the receptionist heard it. She really was the rudest manicurist I have ever met. Was her nail job ok? Yes. But was her nail job good enough for her to treat a customer like this? No. I would still recommend this nail salon to my friends for all the good services I have received there, but, AVOID MIKI, anyone but her. Girls, you deserve someone nice and patient, who knows how to treat customers with respect. And for Shi Nail Blue, the receptionist apologized to me (MIKI didn't feel sorry at all so she went straight back to the restroom) and promised me to report this incident to their manager. She offered me to waive the fee but I didn't take it. I paid for the material and environment Shi Nail Blue provided, but for MIKI, she didn't deserve a cent. I will be waiting for the response from Shi Nail Blue. I hope you won't let this rude employee bring discredit on your store. Read Less
