I should have checked the reviews first. My usual salon was busy and I was optimistic that perhaps this place near my house might be a good second alternative. It was not. Tools are not properly sanitized. They use dirty clippers and reuse files from one customer to the next. The shape of my nails on my mani and pedi were uneven and the beautiful dark blue colour I chose for my polish simply highlighted the awful uneven, sometimes slanted shape of my nails. I even asked the second person doing my mani if she could make them more even and she was unable too. She worry a dirty band aid on her thumb and no gloves. Made for a disturbing hand massage that I hate myself for enduring lol I skipped the polish on my mani to save myself some time later when I fix it. Even I can do a better shape on my own, which I will now have to do before I go out for my graduation celebration tonight. I will have to remove the color from toes and do the best I can to fix those shapes, some are too short and slanted to fix, then choose a lighter color to bring no attention to my feet!! Waste of money!!! I hate posting bad reviews but this place was awful and I would have preferred to avoid and save my money and my time!! This is why I travel to Onyx down in gastown or go to Vivid Nails on Hastings and willingness for quality and sanitized service from women who are artists and take pride in their work. I went 3 times just to give it a try to see if it was just the staff I had at the time that was horrible. Nope. They all suck horribly. All 3 staff. Today I had it done from who looked like a manager and omg lol she's the worst. My nails are not fully painted, had sharp pointy edges here and there that scratched my skin...my previous color is still on and showing. Very rude and don't give a damn about their mistakes. One other staff glared at me for complaining to my friend about how the staff did a poor job on my nails. The staff did not care about doing a nice job. professional nails my butt. Quality work? I went there 2 times I went the second time because my first time was good. But the second time it was so busy they just wanted to finish their job o still stayed because my nails looked very bad. I don't think they even care about the reviews but I need to say this. They did a crappy job and I'm not happy about it and I will never go there .I'm making that decision not only because of the service I received but also what I saw I spent there like 2 hours and I noticed that they don't clean or disinfect the foot spa I saw so many people just coming and aittsit there and I never noticed how they clean up. They also should learn English I was explaining to the lady what I wanted and she couldn't understand and they talked a lot in their language which I feel is very rude and disrespectful. Read Less
