it's cheap but unfortunately the place isn't always the cleanest and depending on the person you get, it's either a great experience or a bad one. I got my nails done and it was great but this week my cousin and I both paid for pedicures and got completely different treatments while sitting next to each other. It was so annoying. Her lady was amazing and went all out and she was in the chair for over 30 mins and then my lady was done in 15 mins. I sat with my toe polish drying for 15 minutes while my lady went to the back and ate her lunch and got to watch my cousin be pampered for the same amount. I was not impressed. After talking with my cousin I realised she actually got 3 things that I did not. A sugar scrub of the leg, a tool to get the dead skin off her feet, as well as a diamond on her toe with no extra charge. All this while i was just plopped in the dryer and ditched for lunch break. After my cousin was dry and her lady ended up taking both of us up to pay, I had been sitting in the toe dryer for 30 mins. I was very upset. Read Less

They always try to fit me in even when I don't make an appointment. Their sparkle gel nails are really nice and they're the only I place I've seen it at. Super cheap since its family owned but the quality is great. The salon isn't glamorous, but they get the job done. My favourite part is the fact that the nail technicians would help you carry your shoes and bag around!! So sweet. Highly recommend their shellac gel polish for pedicures, they last for months. I've been going here for years since my gym is right across from them. I usually get Kim to do my nails for me. I get the UV gel for my manicure and shellac for pedicures. They have very reasonable prices, I would say the lowest compared to a lot of places. I usually book an appointment in advance but I do see girls walking in without an appointment. Tried this place after my usual nail person moved away. Never again will I go back! The person doing my nails kept stopping to take phone calls then had to stop to have a conversation with another worker. He slopped the nails on and then slopped paint on. I made them redo a couple nails because they look so bad. Plus they barely lasted a week! There are much better places within a 20 minute drive - avoid this one. Read Less

Went today for a color change and got a beautiful french gel from Lisa - she was kind and friendly and did not pressure me to get any added services. She was focused, precise and careful, and quite obviously skilled and experienced with her work; the end result speaks for itself. Her work station was also neat, clean and well equipped! Just moved into the neighborhood and my sister and I went in for an afternoon manicure.  I guess we were too busy chatting to notice how filthy the place was until we sat down and our manicure started.  It's not just filthy, it's very unsanitary.  Unfortunately my good manners stopped me from just walking out and gave them a chance to maybe get a decent manicure.  However, the longer I stayed, the more I noticed how gross the place is.  The table was covered in white dust - from what I imagine are nail filings from god knows how many other customers.  There were discarded fake nails and used paper towels everywhere on the table where I sat.  There were open containers of chemicals, dirty bottles of lotion and nail polish, used newspapers to cover spills and stains.  The walls were covered in splattered nail polish, the floors hadn't been swept.  I feel like throwing up now just thinking of how the dirty the tools must have been.I asked for a shellac gel manicure and a man was assigned to give me my manicure... it was odd since I had never had a male give me a manicure before.  He did an ok job but the whole time looked like he didn't want to be there.  Halfway through a woman took over.  She was even more indifferent.. she didn't even sit down!!!  I had to pull my arm back down so I could rest my elbow on the dirty table.  She was zoned out and staring into space almost the entire time.  What was worse was the manicure itself.  It was thick and chunky and sloppy.  Shellac manicures are supposed to last 3-4 weeks.  One of the nails had already peeled off in a giant chunk by the end of the day.  The thick polish was also digging into edge of my finger so I had to peel it off from the discomfort and it started to bleed.Overall, this place should be inspected and shut down.  It' so gross. I've been loyal to this nail salon for the past three years. As of recently, their customer service and quality of nail polish application has gone down. I've also begin to pay careful attention to the tools that they use during services and i'm sure that they do not clean their tools after each client. The gel polish feels like it wasn't applied with attention to detail and usually feels like its ready to peel the following day. The price is mostly reasonable for a gel mani and regular polish pedi equalling out to be $52.50 after tax and before tip. Read Less

Well sadly I have broken up with this Salon. I've been going here for a year and a half. My last 3-4 visits the service has gone down hill. My nails were not done very well ( the male that works there is not very good). I went in at 11:15 am. There was one person getting a pedi mani . I was ignored, not asked what service I wanted. When another worker came in (the third now at work) she asked me if I wanted a pedi. I was there for a fill. She sat down and watched her IPad. There were two other ladies that do nail fills and neither attempted to help me. I finally left almost 20 mins later. Sadly never to return. Went here with my 7 year old daughter to get some polish on our toes. We were told it would be 5 minutes so we picked out our polish. 20 minutes later he told us it would be another 10 minutes or so. I could not wait any longer because I had to pick my son up from football practice. I understand if you cannot accommodate walk-ins because you are busy, but don't lie to me about how long of a wait it will be. I don't appreciate my time being wasted. Did not have a good experience at this salon! Slowest service I have ever received in a nail spa. Nail tech didn't do nail art. The staff here are relatively friendly, But i have gone several times over the last 8 months, only because I work nearby and I can go on my break... However, every time I get my nails done, I have to watch like a hawk to make sure big spots on my nails are not missed while polishing, or the nails are not crooked. nails are filed and shaped in a sloppy manner, and I always have to touch up when I leave here.. I got my nails done a week ago, and they are already dull and peeling off. I get acrylic with gel overlay. I will be getting my nails re-done at another salon. I do not want to waste my money here anymore. I am glad so many have had good experiences, but for me, that is not the case. Even when I got my pedicure, it was super sloppy, and I definitely could have done a better job myself, but wanted to get some pampering done.. It was one of the OWNERS who painted my toes, and put super thick, gloppy layers of polish on and missed different areas..time to find another salon. Read Less

I have been going to Pretty Nails for over ten years. Kim and Tony are great! Don't bother making an appointment - walking in is more the style.I've had pedicures and manicures here and the variety of polishes and finishes is wonderful. I've had nails done for weddings, graduations, vacations and other special events and countless pedicures in the summer.It isn't super posh, and there is a tendency to be dusty because they do a lot of fake nails, but they try to keep it clean and the prices are reasonable.I miss Pretty Nails ever since I've moved out of the area but I make a point of returning to catch up with the girlfriends over a pedi. I've been coming here for over 13 years. I always get the perfect mani/pedi! When I had been asked to wait and I decided to check out others who could fit me in faster I regretted it. Why? Because not once have I ever been nicked at Pretty Nails, nor had shoddy work done which cannot be said about some of the others in this area. I can trust this place, I know I can rely on a perfect, and competent job, and the few times I've had to wait I know it will be worth it. The price is great, the service is efficient. Worst nail salon I have ever been to. It doesn't even deserve a star. Unacceptable service and quality! hygiene issues left, right and center. Don't go here!  I made an appointment but I was required to wait a whole hour before color was applied. Different esthetician would visit me in between clients to take off my previous nails or buff them so that I couldn't just up and leave. The job they did was incredibly sloppy, got onto my cuticles  and outside my nails and the finish product? No shine. I am actually sitting here at home applying my own top coat. So disappointing. I am new to the area and need somewhere to get my polish done. There are several choices in the area so this will be the one and only time I use them and if the reason sounds harsh I am sorry, but thats how it goes.I walked in at about 3:10. Asked for a polish change. "No problem" they said." Okay I am just gonna go put some money in the meter then, I will be right back!"15 minutes later sitting they are half way through and they say "oh, they are towing cars".  another lady and i jump up and run to the window. i have a ticket ($64) and her car is hooked to the truck!!! thankfully they let her car go and towed the other one. I am upset because i SAID to them..."okay, I am gonna go put money in the meter". as good business owners i feel they should have notified me of the parking issue. it was the most expensive polish change ever. don't bring your car here, there is no parking, just walk. and i was not satisfied with the lady who did my nails i did not catch her name. just my bad luck, i guess.edit: and now I have the headache of trying to pay this freaken ticket. This place sucks! Never go there. I had my gel nails for a week and they started lifting and chipping! Hence the fact that I always get my nails done at other stores, this place is probably the worst place to get your nails done.The people are very friendly, however they did not give me what I wanted. Small but does the job (that's what she said)I don't get my nails done on the regular, but I've been to several places when getting gels done. This place, by far, is the best I've been in. I've had gel sets that would lift after the first 2 weeks! $40 for a full gel set, and believe me, they last. Even if you're nails grow out, they don't break or chip (unless you play sports in them or something rigorous). Run by Vietnamese people, and they are so incredibly sweet! They make conversation and chit-chat with you about how your day is. Tony does incredible nails, so if he's available grab him. But the other girls are good too.
