Had my nails sculpted for the first time and they look alright I guess however worst part is probably the gel colour on my nails is spotty and uneven. Not sure what was going on but the techs hands were shaky, probably the energy drink on the desk. Not even an hour after getting my nails done my gems fell off (and they aren’t cheap either on top of the price of getting the nails done which is frustrating.) Got a new gel set and the the lady put on the color to thick and had to redo two nails because they didn't cure in the light. Also couldn't do what I wanted for design because she didn't know how. The whole process took 3 hours!! Had them for a week and they are chipping. Paid $90 dollars... I will never go back. Read Less

My review is not on the nails my review is on the hairdresser Serena that rents a chair for hair there.I went to see Serena for the first time for a cut and colour with highlights. I left happy with my hair but then about a week later my hair started to break and it got worse over a period of 3 weeks my hair on 1 side is now 2 inches from my scalp, it looks like it has been cut with a knife, I have long hair.I called Serena for an appt for a cut or just to see what she thought we should do.The day of my appointment I was unable to go and it was out of my control. I was very upset as my hair needed something ASAP!!I text to inform her that I was not able to make this appointment and please can we get me in later or as soon as possible!Her response to me was I could get in 2 weeks later and there is a 20.00 dollar extra fee because I didn't cancel 48 hrs prior to this appointment!!I lost my keys!!! I couldn't go!!! I didn't plan on losing my keys 48 hrs prior. Even Doctors don't require 48hrs!I feel as a new client and I have never had a chemical breakage on my hair before she could of helped me out!! I didn't know her policy and i did not see her sign either.Serena was the last one to do my hair as well! I don't feel that I was treated fairly at all, I was very disappointed as I was recommended from a friend and she did not know of her 48 hr cancellation policy either. I got my grad nails done here and I am very impressed with the job they did! I was a little pricy for the gel polish but I did add some sparkles and a different colour to my nails so that's why. In total it was about $42. Other than that it is a beautiful place and it seemed very clean. Read Less

I'm really surprised that this place doesn't have any reviews on them thus far!I've admired a girlfriend's gel nails for quite some time now, and after deciding I was going to go back to having gels I asked her where she went.  I called Gelous Nails to get an appointment, and due to them being SO busy, I was able to get in two weeks from when I called.The staff are super friendly and accommodating.  They do a ton of different art designs and decals for your nails. They also have a hair salon (which I haven't tried).  The nail techs really take their time with your nails and do a beautiful job - they also have an instagram page - it looks like a lot of women come in with pics from pinterest and get them done up here :)The only downfall is that they are SO busy all the time, it's hard to get an appointment.  So when you do, book your next fill before you leave.  I've had a ton of complements on my nails and can't wait to go back to try another fun design :) Read Less
