This is by far my favourite place for nails in St. Albert! I have no complaints and all who do my nails are great and careful and professional. Ava is my favourite but her brother is wonderful too. I have acrylic nails and their pedicures are great too. Thumbs up! Read Less

From the reviews I was expecting something like no other. To be honest this was no different than any other basic nail salon I've been too. The only cool incentive was the stamp card you got where you get $20 off your service after 10 visits. The positives were: the different fun colours, quick service, clean facility, affordable price, and friendly staff. The not so great part is that my nail tech didn't do the best job. Parts of my nails weren't fully covered in polish and the "massage" she gave me was more of a gentle caress. I had an older woman who didn't speak English and had to rely on the others to translate. I couldn't really communicate much of what I wanted. In the end I paid $50 for a pedicure with two designs on the big toe plus tip. $50 is the same amount I pay for pedicures at Ahava Day spa minus the tip and that is for a luxurious experience. If you're needing to get your toes done in a pinch and don't have a lot of money to spend then there is nothing wrong with this place. Read Less

My new favourite nail salon! My mom and I decided to get pedicures this afternoon, and I had been told this was the place to go. Firstly there was no overpowering chemical smell like most nails salons, and secondly - the customer service was unreal! We had appointments and were greeted with smiles and quick service right away. Tried this place because it was one of the only nail salons open on a Sunday in the Edmonton area. The techs were lovely and did a very thorough job on both my pedicure and shellac nails. Prices are pretty standard for the industry. Definitely would recommend! Read Less

VERY happy with our experience here.  After a rough weekend moving, we were in desperate need of some relaxation.  A quick Yelp search brought us to Awesome Nails.When we walked in, there were only two staff members there, and they were both working on pedicures.  I asked if they had time to squeeze two more pedicures in, and they said it would be about 15 - 20 minutes.  So we sat and waited.Around noon, we were shown to the pedicure chairs.  I was happy to see that they use plastic liners in the foot baths - I had never seen that before.  The two staff were incredibly friendly, and engaged in conversations with us.  We were all laughing and chatting for the full hour.The pedicure itself was great.  One of the best I've received.  And the foot and leg massage was definitely the best I've received during a pedicure.  I will happily go back.Shellac Pedicure is $45 and worth every penny. This place is by far the best nail salon I have ever been to. Service is exceptional and I've never been happier with my nails. Vinh, the salon's owner, is very meticulous and that's what I love about his work. He's very precise in every step of the process ensuring every nail is perfect (& they are!) This does mean that he takes a little longer with them but I would much rather have high quality nails than a quick but substandard job. I usually get gel nails done and they've never chipped or broken off - my nails feel so durable that even when they've grown out a lot I'm not scared that they'll break. The quality of the service is so good that it makes driving out to St. Albert so worth it (I live in Edmonton). I would highly recommend this place to anyone with zero hesitation. Read Less

I've been to many places to get my nails done. Some are okay, usually not close to perfect (a crooked nail here, glue remnants, come off too early...well you know. Then I found Awesome Nails through Yelp. Yes, the reviews are true. The gentleman who did my nails did a fantastic job-acrylic, gel overlay. He is talented and trained in nail art as well. It's been a close to a month, and these babies are holding strong. I need a fill, badly, and will be getting it done here. Hopefully with the same person. Love this place! I am a native-Edmontonian who is now living in Los Angeles and was in town for Christmas. Was recommended to Awesome Nails by my best friend who is a regular (and they happily remembered who she was when I mentioned her). Went in to get my NYE nails done. Was sat right away, service was friendly, loved the colour selection for shellac nails, and I was happy to hang out with the staff. All the other customers that came in were made to be super comfortable by the staff and the staff members seemed to love to chat with everyone and try to get to know them better. I absolutely LOVE coming here! After going in and out of so many nail salons, I'm so glad I have finally found my go to. Vin (some people call him Cam) is fantastic and always can squeeze me in for an appointment even during busy hours. They give you exactly what you ask for, detailed or simple, and are extremely accommodating. It was only $25 to get gel polish on my nails and $30 for a pedicure! My nails last for over a month (aside from them growing out) with no chipping. I love how clean everything is and how friendly the staff are. This is a MUST for people looking for a new nail salon. The name really does say it all, this place is awesome.  They take the time to do an incredible job every time I go and make sure you are 100% happy before you leave. With a Manicure and pedicure they give you a nice massage and as an added bonus a hot towel on your legs and arms.  They remember every colour I have ever tried and the ones my friend and sister get.  They also remembered our names after the first time we went.  Excellent place to get your nails done with the most incredible owners! I was VERY happy with this salon.  Called in at noon and they fit my friend and I both in at the same time around 5.  They gave us both a bottle of water as we walked in and were very chatty and friendly, unlike a lot of other small salons.  The owner is such a nice man, and gave a wonderful manicure.  The salon is very clean and cozy! And the prices were amazing!! $20 for a manicure and $30 for a full spa pedicure. Read Less

Nail places are a dime a dozen in some spots, but I'd head into this one again! Awesome Nails just opened in St Albert last December. I phoned in on Sunday asking if they took walk ins, which they totally do and found myself promptly seated when I walked through the door at 2pm.The salon itself is pretty big and very clean. There are half a dozen foot bath chairs for pedis and a similar amount of manicure stations. They are also equipped with everything you'd need to get whatever body part waxed.I needed a manicure in a bad way. My nails haven't seen a salon since, well longer than I'd care to admit. My mani included the usual nail clean and care, some pretty pink gel nail polish and a nice little hand and arm massage at the end. I was in and out in just over 30 minutes and all for under $35. If I find myself in St Albert needing a manicure again, I'd totally come back! Read Less
