I am reading some of the reviews and can’t believe we are talking about the same place. Every time I go in I see Judy and she is so meticulous about my nails. Each one is perfect! Never going back, the last time I went I had to get my nails redone because they were uneven and looked like chicklets. This time I went for a pedicure, some were filed straight, some are rounded, I asked her to even them out and she just made them shorter. I got my nails done there on Sunday. It's now Thursday (4 days) and the gel is coming off in chunks. I even tipped her and now wish I had not. Although I called them today and they will redo my nails without charge. Glad to hear. Read Less

The manicure was rushed and the gel polish was applied horribly. Nails were not shaped nicely at all. Some areas were round while other areas were pointed and sharp (I asked for round nails). I went home and filed them all. The ladies did not speak to us at all and would talk in Vietnamese during the whole manicure. It made me and my friends feel very uncomfortable. Nails were awful, the glued on tips for coffin nails looked like they were flying off my fingers. My pedicure didn't make my feet soft, the polish wore off after a couple days (first day on vacation it had peeled off), the nails weren't shaped well.... the ends of the nails were very sharp, ALSO...... got a fungal infection on my finger tips.... now this is assumed it's from the nail studio, but they did not disinfect between the person before me and myself.... also, after gel / acrylic is applied, you put your hands under the light.... the bottom that you rest your hands on was disgusting... not clean at all.... and since my fingertips were the only part touching the bottom, and thats the only parts of my hand with fungal infection, I feel it fits the bill!!!! .... felt like it hadn't ever been cleaned. Will NEVER return!!! Unhygienic. The tech also cut through two of my nails with the grinder trying to remove two tips she cut way to short, and when i said it hurt, she said that if i would have given her a better description on the length of my nails, she wouldn't have to do this!! I have been going to Sassy Nails for the past 3 years. When I lived in Canmore I would book an appointment every time I visited my daughter in Spruce Grove. Now I live close and I am able to have more regular appointments. JANE is excellent! She is knowledgeable, friendly, and she always listens to my requests so that I get exactly the services that I desire. JANE does beautiful gel nails, great waxing and great eyebrow tinting. I found they were more interested in their next client! They sped through the whole Mani, nails not dried enough, not under lights long enough and will not go back. Bad atmosphere, no one talks to u, when they do I have trouble with understanding their whispering! Not client motivated !!! Read Less

I will never go to this nail salon again. I got a gel polish pedicure and 2 days later the gel polish completely came off 2 of my nails and was lifting off of 3 others.. So I went back in and they fixed it free of charge.. Only to have them fall off again 4 days later! I told them to make sure they wouldn't fall off again as I'm going on vacation this week and they assured me it would be better this time 😡 NOT!!! They are in such a rush that they don't even allow the layers to dry/cure before going to the next step. I am so angry that my $70 is now wasted and I have to go somewhere else to get yet ANOTHER pedicure before my trip. Never will I return to this nail salon. Read Less

It was my last experience today with that salon. Never again. After calling in advance and making an appointment for 7 pm with Sue for manicure and pedicure and coming there 5 min before I still was waiting until late 7.35 pm and just left after that. Unfortunately this wasn't the first time like this with the salon. Had very similar experience a few months ago with Jane - waited for 45 min before she actually took me in. Too bad that they are just waking distance from me, but I'll be looking for a new place to get my nails done. Will not return, will not recommended. Read Less
