I have had horrible experiences in the past year with my hair that left it super damaged, broken and the colour was garbage but she was able to pull off the most mind blowing hair transformation. Save yourself the frustration, try elsewhere!!! The stylist I saw severely lacked skill even though she was touted as being "great" at cutting short hair. Upon complaining profusely about the nasty cut I received, I was set up with a more "senior" stylist. On the date/time I was to see this supposedly more talented person, I received a text message saying she was running late. I delayed my arrival but even at that, still no stylist in sight 10 minutes after arrival. Which led me to determine that this place is all glitter but no substance. My experience here speaks to the challenge in finding stylists who actually know how to cut hair. The so-called talent these days seems to be focused more so on colouring although I have no idea what that means given the reality that these colours come out of a box. Read Less

I got my hair done by Kelssie-Lynn, and she did an incredible job. She took my hair from a dark brown to a dark blonde, no damage. I went for my first ever massage at Glow, on Saturday. We were greeted by a very sweet lady who walked us into the beautiful salon and let us wait in a relaxing area, where we got to see the other services being done around us which was neat to see. Sarah did my 60 min massage and she was FAN-TA-STIC! She made me feel super relaxed and comfortable and did not waste a minute of my time and gave me a phenomenal full body massage. I fell asleep, I think I drooled.... I may have even made turned into a bag of potatoes I was that relaxed. Once it was over I felt like a new women! I came out of the room and Sarah was waiting for me with some water. I was on cloud 9 for the rest of the weekend. I went to home so relaxed and refreshed. Every lady we talked to was super sweet and friendly. Glow is defiantly the place to go to feel comfortable and welcomed for any type of pampering service you seek. I booked an appointment for gel nails and was able to get in that same day. They were very accommodating. After I sat down to soak my nails I noticed my 5 week old baby needed tending to. The nail artist let me take 20 mins to care for her, and then she was still a little fussy after we started so two of the ladies offered to rock her for me, one of them the owner. The nail artist worked so fast. They were so friendly ! She did a beautiful job on my nails like better than I've ever had. They got me in right after for a make over which was very much needed. The makeup artist was very informative and I absolutely love the products she used on me and sold me! They then gave me a free session and $30 off my purchase!!! I want to go back for there facial, pedi, hair, waxing , I'm so excited I finally found a decent salon in spruce grove that has good quality products , staff with experience who are wonderfully friendly and who I trust ! I had an appointment on July 14 to get a full color as well as a full head of foils and an eyebrow wax. The waxing online states that you get wax plus a massage and makeup touch up. All I got was the wax and not a thing more and for 33 dollars I thought that was ridiculous. It was such a rip off and very disappointing. If you are going to state something than you should have to do it especially if you are going to charge that much. Never again will I get a waxing there. As for the coloring it was absolutely wonderful. I was very happy with the results and the treatment I received. Can't thank Bre enough seeing as I haven't been to a salon in over 6 years. I had an appointment scheduled for 1:30, but due to cancellations they were able to take me earlier. I changed my appointment to 11:30 and arrived at 11:25. I was offered coffee tea or water and I said I would have a water. I sat for twenty minutes. No one brought water. No one came to say how long it would be. I drove 40 minutes from South Edmonton to Spruce Grove. What a waste of time. I won't be back. I'm not surprised there were cancellations. I'll be going back to Chatters, they have always been great. I had my hair done here by the stylist Anne I came in with blonde hair and roots wanting to go back naturally brown but still have some blonde in there.She did an amazing job and gave me exactly what I wantedShe was good to my hair added creams to make it soft and gave me a nice head massage while I was in the sink She brushed my hair gently while blow drying, fromMy past experience with many other hair stylist they are always in a rush to get your hair dry and get on to there next appointment so they tend to brush and pull threw the knotsAnne did not she was gentle and even went out of her way to curl my hair beautifully!The price was very fair and I was a happy customer!I would recommend  the stylist Anne! I found the staff to be very friendly. However, I had my first manicure in years and within days it was a chipped mess. I couldn't go back until almost a week later because they were closed, and when I did I was told they couldn't help me but would have a manager call me. The next day when the manager called she couldn't accommodate a time for me to come back for a week to get a touch up. She then told me I should have tried gel polish. Extremely disappointed. I've gone to Glow twice for a blowout.  Both times the staff were very friend and accommodating, but both times they did a terrible job on my hair.  I was specific about what I would like and how I wanted it done.  I get my hair done at lease once a week, so I know what I like and what I don't like. However, both times at Glow I essentially walked out with straight ironed hair (which I can easily do at home).  I also thought the price was exorbitant at about $43.00.  I usually pay in the range of $30-$35 for senior stylists.  The stylists here are nothing to write home about, they are very sweet, but they just do not do a great job.  I will not be returning to this salon and suggest that people look elsewhere for hair services.  I have not tried the nail or spa services.
