WORST experience at this place ever! I broke my nail two days after getting them done here and the girls couldn't find the color I originally got even though I told them which colors I got. The girl who was fixing my nail told me that the dark teal nail polish would match my light blue nails. It clearly didn't. Then she told me to pick out the closest color I could find because they had thousands of colors and wouldn't be able to find it. She said I wouldn't notice the difference but I can definitely notice the way lighter blue finger. Will NOT ever go back here. I'd recommend you don't either. Read Less

I had an awkward experience today during my pedicure.  She was a young very thin employee that told me to sit down, no hello or introduction, and went about asking if I wanted a 'Spa Pedicure'.  I told her no thanks and that I just wanted a regular pedicure, she seemed annoyed and was quite cold and pushy the entire service.  Slapping my leg to put it back in the water, and made me feel stupid for not wearing my own flip flops while it's still technically winter outside.   I won't be going back.  Her customer service was terrible. Although ive tried tons of other places in the past, i have consistantly been coming back to Bihns in spruce grove. All of their staff is awesome but Ty the manager has an exceptional technique and the best skill set i have ever seen. Ask for gels get acrylics, get charged more for the gel. I was new to having my nails done and thought this was a great place. However after several times of having my nails done here, I tried a new salon and got actual gel nails for less than what Binhs was charging. I had no idea I was being taken over and over because I was new and trusted they were giving me what I asked and was paying for. For anyone else new to nails, if they pull out a pot of powder and mix it up into a glob and put on your nail, that's acrylic. Bewary of this trick! Read Less

I have been going to this place for over 5 years and have had all around good experiences, however in the last little while I have been reconsidering my choices in spending my money at this particular nail salon. For the last year I have been coming in and asking for the exact same thing done to my nails, and at the end my nails have been done in the exact same process yet each time I am asked to pay a different price. Sometimes I am charged $35, sometimes I am charged $40, s...ometimes I am charged $50. The inconsistency is becoming very irritating and only leads me to believe prices are made up on the spot depending on who has done my nails that day. It’s very frustrating to be asked to pay $50 for something I had just paid $35 for the month prior. I do not get fake tips, or any designs, I just ask for my natural nails to be painted in a layer of gel and somehow that works out to $50? I will no longer be able to justify spending that amount on my nails at Bihns again. Very unreasonable cost for very little product or effort in my opinion, especially considering many other salons in Spruce Grove I have gone to on occasion charge $30 for the exact same thing. As well as being charged such an outrageous price, the actual paint job done on my nails was poorly done, with the sides being missed on the majority of my nails, and some nails coming out looking like they have more coats of paint than others. Also, the colour doesn’t go down all the way to the bottom of my nails either, so even though they were just done they already look like they’ve grown out- not sure if this is done purposely so they need to be filled sooner? Stumbled in here on a whim one day! They always do the best job and accommodate my pickiness! The girls are so friendly and amazingly talented. Even if I am unhappy with something or it is not to my liking, I tell the tech and she’ll adjust it to my satisfaction! My nails always look pretty good, but the only thing I didn't like was that when I come in I go at six because I'm in school in the city until 5, so cant make it until six, most of the time the girls are really good but the last time I went the girl looked like she was in a hurry so she didn't apply the top clear coat properly, missing half the nail in most nails and I didn't notice till I got home, and when everything was all done she filed the sides scratching all the paint... off of the sides, the nails themselves were absolutely beautiful but she filed them scratching the paint causing the polish to peal off a week later. I was going to tell her she scratched them on the sides but she just seemed to excited to leave because when I left it was 7:30, half hour till closing and I didn't want to make her say longer, but she did an amazing marble looking nail job. I live in Edmonton and have a Binh's 2 minutes from my house... yet I drive to this location. Why? Because of Ty and all the girls do the most AMAZING job! I always get compliment on the designs that they come up with. The colour selection is unlike any other. If you want everyone envious of you nails you gotta drive out here. Amazing designs on the nails, great prices, great job on my pedicures, friendly staff, only issue is that if they are busy they nail polish coats go on right after the other, so there is NO possibility of drying. 6 hours later they are still not dry. I love having a very convenient nail salon in the neighborhood. I've been coming here for the last 2 years and they have always done an excellent job. They got so many talented ladies than does great job. They give opinions if you ask them, color suggestion, care for your nails etc. My friend and I finds this place a fun playground like, we got to have a good foot massage, a nice chair massage. The girl that did my nails was rushed because she felt pressure from my husband and all he asked was how long it would be because he was going to take off for a bit, instead of carring about the quaility of service, my nails were done in such a sloppy way because the girl rushed, for that I'll never return.
