This place is amazing. It's the one place that doesn't make your gel nails super thick. Thao is amazing. They actually look natural and the man that does pedicures is the best. You definently need to go here if you haven't already. I have been going here for about 2 years and I've never had an issue. Lovely environment and friendly faces. You always get what you ask for. Worst pedicure I've ever had. Day after getting gel toe nails one of my whole toe polishes came right off. I could not reach this business by phone. I sent a message here on FB regarding my complaint. I received a response at 1am that said I could come back and it would be fixed. Well next morning another toe polish came off. I went in had the two toes repainted. Well, that night another toe polish came off same foot. I was going to go in but who has time to go in 3x to have something done that should have been done right the 1x. Needless to say more toes are missing polish. Just frustrated at the lack of quality in their gel polish and overall pedicure experience. The people are nice but the job done was very disappointing. My daughters and I have been getting our nails and toes done by Thao and Yim, sisters, for years. It's a family business with a brother and sister in law also working there. We love the sisters! Their nails are professional, long wearing and beautiful. They do whatever style/design you imagine. I like white air brush ombré tips, a milder French manicure. The daughters are more flamboyant with colours, gems, and shape. Not until an extended visit away from home facilitating a nail fill did I realize how extraordinary the sisters were. The cleanliness, and fastidious work is awesome!! You always go satisfied, no inner panic to run home and file errors. Thank you Thao and Yim for spoiling me, I can't get my nails done anywhere else! BEWARE. HEALTH RISK. I am AMAZED this place has 5 star reviews!!! From reusing files and tools to cleaning with dollarstore disinfectants such as Fantastic, this place is a running disease factory! Ive witnessed these things myself to know i will never return or recommend to anyone! These people should really learn how to PROPERLY sanitize (with hospital grade cleaners) before accepting anymore clients! Read Less

Have issues with paying for a service and my lady getting what they wanted to do and when it was mentioned manicurist said or did anything to try and remedy the problem. would not waste my money going back as I did not get what was asked for nor what was paid for. Read Less

(Just as a side note - this location has moved to Chippewa Road in the 'business district' of Sherwood Park, AB) I just recently started getting my nails done on a regular basis - for my last set of gel nails and subsequent fill I went to Nails by Donna but in an effort to try new places I decided to give Vo's a try as I had heard good things from a few people. I went in on a Thursday at about noon with no appointment hoping for a walk in. Although they were busy and had other bookings they were, thankfully, able to fit me in before my hair appointment 1.5 hours later. The staff were super nice and very personable and the shop appeared clean and welcoming. In comparison to the other nail salon I go to, the lady at Vo's was much faster but slightly less gentle - she cut my skin a few times (very minor) but was extremely apologetic about it (no biggie!). I love the coloured tips and they have a pretty good selection with some really neat designs. I also like the way the nails turned out here more than my other place as they are significantly thinner and less bulky. I also had her free hand a little flower design on my nail and she did an amazing job - I was blown away with her talent! All in all I had a great experience here and will definitely be back for a fill soon. Do caution though - they do try to up-sell their other services; however, I did appreciate that as I had never had my eyebrows waxed, so she offered to do them for me, which is something I have wanted to get done but I never really think about it at the time - with nothing to compare it to I think she did a good job :) .
