Edit: I texted them and was able to go back right away and Nichole did such an amazing job and made sure most of the hair was gone. Thank you again, Nichole! Completely satisfied and I can enjoy my trip without worrying about my bathing suit.
Valerie is such a nice lady who will make you feel welcomed and comfortable during your wax. Not to mention she’s very fast! But the reason why I only put 2 stars is that even after going for my second wax after 4 weeks and 3 days, there’s still a lot of hair left that got cut while waxing. I’ve been getting a Brazilian wax since 2007 so usually after the second wax, it’s all clean but for some reason my second time still had quite some hair left. I still loved my experience because Valerie made me feel comfortable but I’m not totally satisfied with my wax. I measured some hair and they’re long enough to get waxed so maybe it’s the wax being used but a lot got cut off and I’m pretty bummed about that.

Found Bare Affair through a Google search, I was in town visiting family and wished to get some waxing done. Nichole is the owner and also did my waxing, she was great! Friendly, passionate about what she does and one of the less painful wax jobs I've ever had. I would go back.

Well the girlfriend needed a waxing and I google waxing and found the bare affair in Sherwood Park. Didn't know if they took walk-ins but we decided to give it a go. Lucky for us there were two back to back cancellations and the owner was able to fit us in. My girlfriend got a full waxing of her legs and arms. She was extremely impressed that it was totally painless, which was a first for her. Skin looked great and very smooth. My little lady is a princess and if she was happy, I think anyone would be. We found our go to place for our waxing needs, but I will book ahead next time to ensure a spot.

I was looking to get a Brazilian wax and didn't want to pay an arm and a leg but still wanted somewhere that was clean and professional. In my search, I came across Bare Affair. The prices were reasonable, which caught my attention, and once I saw Nicole's bio and where she had previously worked, I was sold. I used to go to the high end spa where she had worked previously so I know the quality of staff they hired. Even though I had never been to Nicole before I felt fairly comfortable booking with her and I was not disappointed. Her place is small and only has a common waiting area, but it was still nicely decorated, comfortable and most of all, clean. No Brazilian wax is a fun experience, you're exposed to a stranger who is inflicting torturous pain on your most personal bits, but Nicole was very easy to talk to and made me feel at ease. I will be going back, she did a great job, and would recommend Bare Affair to anyone.
