First visit to totally refreshed today! We went for a Steam , so I can’t weigh in on the Spa services as I haven’t tried yet. The steam was amazing, got to pick an essential oil blend, nice touch. My only complaint was it would have been nice to have a little shampoo or body wash sample for the shower afterwards. It’s a basic gas station soap pump with hand soap. I'm giving it a 5 because the actually services were amazing My hubs and I went for a steam, hour massages and spa pedicures. I loved the steam and the option to choose your essential oils was great to me. I love my oils. My husband was way too hot so he didn't enjoy that part Massage was perfect and relaxing ... One of the best pedicures I've ever had What I don't like about the spa is that there is no real spa atmosphere. If you are there for multiple services it would be nice to have a locker room to put your things instead of carrying your laundry around with you.. putting your dirty laundry on the chairs or couch in the "lounge" is awkward for other guests. A bathroom with even a few essentials (like a hair brush!!! Lotions...anything) there were crappy hair dryers but didn't have a brush to comb my hair out after the steam. Went on to my other services looking awful. Everything smelled like a janitors closet. It would be nice if even the hand soaps smelled good! My friend and I went for a mom's day out and got the Spa Pedicure! The ladies were great and we are both VERY impressed with the quality and longevity of the nail polish! It has been one month of sandals and the polish is still on and looking great!! The only difference of course is where it is growing out on the bottom of the nail! But that is to be expected!! Great Service !!! I got my haircut & color with Amanda in April 2017 at South location, Red deer. Amanda, who is an amazing hairdresser, advised me what haircut suits me & also did the highlights which I was looking for quite a while. She is a perfectionist who pays attention to minute details, very friendly & helpful and I absolutely loved my haircut & color. She took her time and was not in a rush like most other hairdressers I have visited before. Overall, I really enjoyed my salon experience & will never be going to any other hairdresser. I came in with my mom and we both got our hair colored, and I got mine trimmed. Debbie did a fantastic job on the electric blue and peacock green I wanted in my hair and an amazing job with my trim as well. I had my hair done by the super talented Sam at Totally Refreshed Steam and Spa. I went in with hair I just didn't like and she created a beautiful finished soft look. Exactly what I wanted. I was able to show her what I wanted and she replicated what my vision was. If you haven't had Sam refresh your hair you should she's a phenomenal stylist with a ton of experience and a wonderful warm personality.Totally Refreshed is opening a second location as well at the south end. Came here for a couple's steam and massage package as an anniversary treat. All together it was $160 for 1 hour steam and 1 hour massage. At the end they gave us separate receipts for the massage ($68 each) for submitting to our benefits plan. The steam was great. Private room, private shower, music, and a tap in the steam room to help cool down. Our massage therapists were ready for us as soon as we were done steaming and showering. They were very thorough and gave us some tips for home maintenance between massages (I had a million knots from working at a desk all day). Atmosphere was relaxing and the spa was very clean.
