I last had a pedicure and manicure, here seven months ago. Been stuck workin in the bush and i am sure this dirty place gave warts to the bottem of my feet n on my palm side of my hand! I asked for a brow tint and they waxed instead, I clearly asked for tint only. There seems to be a language barrier, as they'll agree to anything, but don't do as requested. The manicure table was dirty with old nail filings. I don't think they used a clean file. Also she cut my finger while filing. I don't recommend this place and I won't go back. Read Less

Literally the worst set of nails I’ve ever gotten. Called ahead and asked if they had time for me. Told me to come in right away. A guy greeted me when I walked in saying “can I help you?” He ended up doing my nails. Told him I wanted gel not acrylic. He said yes he’s doing gel (was NOT gel!) ended up with misshapen acrylic nails that are too thin and will break off in a couple days. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for a group of 5 of us to get pedicures together, at the same time. I specifically mentioned this. When we arrived, one of the girls decided she wanted a manicure, so they set up four chairs for pedi's. They didn't ask if we wanted regular polish or gel, they gave us the colors to look at, and then when it was time for the polish they put sippers on us and made us walk over to the wall to pick out our polish. Two people did our pedi's and the manicure didn't start until we were there for an hour already. The one nail tech made my 5 yr old cry, because she hurt her with the electric nail file. The water got cold, the towels got cold, and we overall took 2 hours because they kept leaving us and going to work on different clients. I wouldn't recommend this business! Read Less

I am very picky about quality....both of products and professional customer service. It’s disheartening how many businesses have neither now! I love coming to this salon. Yes, it can be very busy. But I’m usually happy to just relax on the couch for a small amount of time, if needed...I am always running ragged! They work so hard, and SO efficiently in here. It’s AMAZING. The owner, Linda, will do anything to ensure a customer is happy. Fix any issue, IF there is one! And most importantly...I LOVE my nails, EVERY time!! As a side note...I have seen some incredible things in there, from customers. Some people are pretty “interesting”. I have to wonder if poor reviewers ever tried to honestly address any concerns? Went in and asked to have my nails painted (I didn't want fake nails). Waited, someone different than who greeted me did my nails. As he got started I asked if he knew that I didn't want fake nails and he said yes. Well he ended up doing gel nails, which I've never had before and seemed similar to just normal nail polish to me. When the total came to $37, I just about fell over. I asked "For normal nails?" and she said "Those are gel." Got my nails done today and I am not impressed! The guys that did them shaped them terribly! I got coffin shape and the tips are on an angle, one side is filled on major angle and the side straight. So my nails are all pointing to the right. They dont look good at all. He rushed through doing them because they over book! If you have appointments booked don't accept walkins! Read Less

The last time I went I had some new guy and he rushed doing my nails and I kepted telling him that they are going to lifted he said no! As I was sitting there someone before me came back to get there's fixed. As he was trying to finish mine he cut my hand up pretty good as he wasn't paying attention. But as he finished they looked amazing and just over a week later 2 out of 10 nails have lifted so bad that 1 of them have fallen off and because I don't live in town I can't go in and complain till Friday!! I can normally go 5-6 weeks. I'm really not happy this time around. May start looking else where but they will be fixing these when I'm in gp on Friday!!!Read Less

Went to QNails to get a full set of acrylics done. While choosing my colour, he wanted to show me some designs he had previously done to see if i wanted something more than just a solid. I let him take the wheel and see what he could do since all the photos he showed me were gorgeous..! First off, I asked for coffin shape.. he shaped my nails and moved on to applying the acrylic. He chose to do an ombre look which was fine with me. Considering im fairly easy going! Then he to...ok it upon himself to add rhinestones to 3 of my fingers (not thinking this would be extra$) and thats when he made my somewhat bearable nails look absolutely horrendous! He had multiple colours of gems that did not match or have anything to do with my set! The one finger was so ugly i immediately peeled off the stones once i left! Did i mention he charged me $5 per finger that had stones, even the finger that had 1 rhinestone! He massacred my cuticles, shaped my nails crooked and did an all around poor job. I should have inspected the work before i left, obviously my expectations were too high. My total came to $85!! I went to have my nails done here today. After reading the reviews I wasn't sure if I should but I took the chance and had them done and am I ever glad that I did! They turned out amazing! but what I did notice was the rude customers coming in very impatient and rude They must deal with it on a regular basis and I give a kudos for them putting up with it because I would have told a few of them off. Bad experience! I asked if they could keep my nail length when they removed my gel nails. They said they would .They filed then down to nothing then filed down the bed of my nail so thin it hurt. The next day they started ripping off into my nail bed and started bleeding. I then came back to ask for a refund and they wouldn't co-operate.Read Less

Great experience here! I typically have problems with lifting due to my thin nail beds, but my nails that I have had done at Q Nails have always stayed on and looked beautiful! The gel color pedis are great too! The staff has always been kind & accommodating!Read Less

I had the worst experience with them. The girl was short and rude. She couldn't even do my simple design I asked for, and I had to pay for her mess up on the nail Polish. The second try was just as horrible. My nails are not even and bubbly. I recommend people to not go there.Read Less
