I have been coming to this location for over a year and they never disappoint. They have thicker accents than people are used to but that shouldnt stop you from getting a great manicure. Awesome! I originally went to a highly recommended nail salon. I was told they do not do ombré effects. I found this strange and disappointing, as this is a popular style. Honestly I would give bonus stars if I could! The lady who did my nails was very nice and professional. I got an acrylic set of nails done, I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she matched it PERFECTLY! The price was affordable and I was very happy with it for the design I got,at other salons I've paid much more for simple nails. The photo I showed (attached below) doesn't show the thumb nail and they helped me decide what do on that nail, she made thee perfect choice. Last time I visited Sophie's Nails I wasn't as happy as usual but after today's visit I'll rate them with a 5 stars. I called to make an appointment, got there 5 minutes before but did't have to wait not even a minute. Ray was my nail tech and she is awesome, super friendly, nice, gentle and always asking if I was satisfied with the product. Three coats of nail polish were applied and my hands nails look perfect. As every other time I didn't have problems finding parking. I'll be back in 3-4 weeks for a new visit to Sophie's nails south side location. Read Less

My go to salon for nails! Doesn't matter which nail tech I get, I'm always happy. The only difference between nail techs is the time they take... expect 45min -1.5 hour. Good prices too. $50-55 for a new gel set, and $40 for a solid colour gel fill.Read Less

My friend recommended this salon to me a while ago. I stopped by an hour after close, but they still welcomed me in with a huge smile! I was impressed by the colour selection, there were so many to pick from it was hard to decide. Leanne was really friendly and thorough, she taught me a lot about proper nail care and had tons of suggestions. The salon is cozy and very clean. I will definitely be going back, thank you Sophie's! The staff was not pleasant at all. Had gone for pedicure. Refused to massage the kegs as she said her body was not strong to perform that. The length of toes nails is not consistent at all. When told her that , her response was , cannot do much as I have cut it too short one one too. Spoke in their owlabuage which is very rude. Would not recommend it at all nor go their ever again.
