I love Urban Venus! My friends and I usually go there to get our nails done before our ladies evening out. Both locations are clean and their service is exceptional! The best part is that Urban Venus Nail Bar makes their own nail polish and lotion with no bad chemicals - can't spell all those names lol!!! Kids parties are welcome. My daughter had her birthday party there and it was the best!! Thank you ladies!! See you soon!😉

Beautiful place! I loved the decorations! I came in for a pedi during a quiet time (work hours) and so was the only one there, and ended up having a great conversation with the guy doing it! He was extremely knowledgeable; it was obvious that he had schooling and training for it and was doing things PROPERLY, not a wham-bam-thank you ma'am pedi. He even made sure I knew the difference between gel and acrylic nails (I had gels on my toes) to make sure I wasn't getting ripped off by my nail girl! The location is cozy, there's comfy bench seating for pedis and a TV you can watch with Netflix running! I found it very affordable as well, comparative pricing with other shops, which is a steal considering their techs have schooling (in Alberta, you don't need schooling to do Manis, pedis, or nails in a shop, so make sure you check!)!!

Horrible experience there for my birthday. two of the staff were incredibly rude. the colors were boring and looked old. The seating was uncomfortable and the one person who did my pedicure never even looked at me just barked orders at me. The one other girl was polite and tried to keep a conversation going but the person she worked with made it incredibly awkward. My husband sent me there with a friend to have a nice morning of getting a birthday pedicure and I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone. To be honest they ruined the start of a 30th birthday.

Urban Venus is my favourite place in Calgary for manicures and pedicures. Great services with both regular and gel nails, and great staff. I appreciate that they follow strict guidelines for cleaning and sterilizing tools, and only use files and buffers once (you can take them home) so they are never re-used on other people.

If you're looking for a relaxing environment and quality services than Urban Venus is it! Never do I feel like they are rushing to get me out and the results of my mani and pedis prove that they have spent the time and care to do a professional looking job.
I love that all their products are locally made and are free of all the harmful chemicals in most lotions and nail polishes.
All three locations have great interiors and the staff is super friendly as well.
Looking forward to my next visit!

Great Service! This salon is affordable and definitely worth the price, the aestheticians are very friendly and know what they're doing. Carmen is unbelievable with manicures, she takes her time and is willing to change the colour if the client is unhappy! I live quite far from this location, but feel its worth the drive to get such excellent service!

Beautiful place! I loved the decorations! I came in for a pedi during a quiet time (work hours) and so was the only one there, and ended up having a great conversation with the guy doing it! Horrible experience there for my birthday. two of the staff were incredibly rude. the colors were boring and looked old. The seating was uncomfortable and the one person who did my pedicure never even looked at me just barked orders at me. If you're looking for a relaxing environment and quality services than Urban Venus is it! Never do I feel like they are rushing to get me out and the results of my mani and pedis prove that they have spent the time and care to do a professional looking job.

Great Service! This salon is affordable and definitely worth the price, the aestheticians are very friendly and know what they're doing. Carmen is unbelievable with manicures, she takes her time and is willing to change the colour if the client is unhappy!
