I have to give a 3 unfortunately on product BUT a 4.5 on staff and salon. the service was spectacular and its a very nice salon, but the pedicure I had was not. I got talked into Shellac as I was heading to a beach vacation, the color was great the actual pedicure was lovely, but 2 days into my vacation 2 of my polished toes on each foot had come completely off, and by the 5th day I only had my big toe remaining. I was super disappointed as I paid quite a bit for the shellac. I would go back and try other services definitely as I really enjoyed the place overall. After writing this review I was contacted by the owner, who apologized for the pedicure I received, and explained the product was more than likely at fault at that time, he said it was not to the standards that Frilly Lilly upholds, and offered to rectify the situation for me. THIS was extremely fantastic as that also shows me the customer service is above and beyond and they want to uphold their name. I have re-booked and look forward to going back in. The ladies were absolutely lovely, and fixed my eyebrows for me on very short notice. Had a terrible experience half hour prior at a different place, and after leaving Frilly Lilly was in a much better mood. Thank you so much for saving my brows!! Best service ever. Read Less

Super friendly staff.  Always a cheery smile as they rip the hair off my back - but it helps me feel smooth in the pool for my triathlon training! ;-)   Very reasonable and very accommodating - super fast at responding to my email and love the online booking feature.  Keep up the incredible work! Frilly Lilly is definitely expanding their presence in Calgary popping up in all different neighbourhoods which makes it super convenient to get a manicure when needed! I really enjoyed my visit to the Shawnessy location, it was a chilly dreary March day in Calgary but I was quickly served a hot cup of Moroccan mint peppermint tea when I arrived and although they had customers removing their shoes (to keep the space as clean as possible - that Calgary slush is a mess!) they noted that I wasn't wearing socks - whoops, I had just finished yoga :-S, so they offered me slip in sandals and placed a warmed up towel under the manicure station. I thought this was so nice of them, really I should have worn socks. My aesthetician was so nice, we chatted away throughout the whole appointment and it was like I was at the salon with a friend and not a stranger doing my nails, so nice! I really like Frilly Lilly's selection of nail colors and the staff always take their time with the application so the end product is very well done and last a long time, my nails were pretty frail and one was a bit ripped so she took the time to glue it and ensure they were filed to perfection which I so appreciated. My experience at Frilly Lilly in Shawnessy was excellent. I had an appointment with Maria, she was very professional and easy to chat with. The decor in the salon is picture perfect!
